they themselves spoil the devices, pretending to find it, all for the sake of content, the player seems to have been lying in the mud for a long time, in a week or two the board will get monstrous corrosion, but as you can see in the video, the board is just in the mud, as if it was dirty and quickly dried, climate-damaged electronics are often very difficult to save, sometimes impossible.
I've seen some heavy BS on these restoration channels here on YT, but this one must be in the top 5. Good thing he didn't use an angle gri... Oh wait ... Never mind. I mean, c'mon dude, get realistic!

Did anyone notice the top of the cd player that he fixed with the hole, and the one that he put on the cd player, the blue top piece is not the piece he fixed, probly replace it with another part,

I would have painted the buttons silver to match Sony colour scheme, but good job. Pity you couldnt fix the original mechanism.

У вновь купленного с Алиэкспресс привода сильно смещена центровка штока держателя диска. Это визуально видно, диск мотает из стороны в сторону, что недопустимо. Из- за этого головка постоянно вынуждена будет рыскать для фокусировки, из-за чего в свою очередь быстро придет в непригодность пластик червячной передачи перемещения головки, там он очень хрупкий. Сперва будут перескакивания с дорожек и остановки, а затем и вовсе перестанет работать из-за выхода из строя моторчика перемещения головки лазера. Надо найти способ центровки держателя диска, тогда проблема будет решена.
У Сони была отвратительная система лазерного блока. С маркетингом они тут явно переборщили. На большинство музцентров ставились эти блоки и они быстро выходили из строя. Виной всему шток держателя диска. Ремонтники это знали, но лукаво винили регулятор подачи силы напряжения, заставляя иных выкручивать их и тем самым сжигая всю плату лазера. Ничуть не лучше обстояли дела у других производителей. Только у Пионера в некоторых центрах можно было встретить более или менее надежную систему. А так, как ни удивительно, в компьютерных приводах ставились конструктивно надежнее механизмы. Именно, что касается передаточных узлов.
А чёёёё так можно было?,мыть плату водой,а я как дурень мою спиртом в ультрозвуковой ванне

If that CD player has been recovered in about 1000 years, those people would be amazed at the technology we had. I am amazed that electronics still functioned. Great job getting this CD player working again. Sony should buy that player for big bucks for their museum.
