The water pump is a beginner camp item, and the water well is a camp item that costs 750 gold bullion. Doesn't help the game randomly decides to stop showing quest markers so you have to search manually for Ward amongst all the other generic looking settlers.
John Nunez You build your perks around the weapon you use. So if you’re a rifle main, you’ll want to choose rifle build perk cards. Such as 10% more damage and it goes up to the max I believe is 50%.
*60%... you get up to 60% more damage with the weapon type alone.. For example, 10% base from Commando, Expert Commando and Master Commando, with up to 20% from each perk maxed out at 3 stars... You can do additional 15% more damage from Bloody Mess as well. You’re already doing 75% more weapon damage from perk cards alone. You also have perks like tank killer that ignores target armor, which helps deal more damage. There are a lot of ways to do more damage as well as having the right legendary effects on your weapon to make it even better. Base weapons are fine, but legendary weapons are definitely obviously where it is at. There are a lot of variables to consider and that are there to calculate how much damage you do. As of now, they are multiplicative variables but there are works in the PTS/Test version now that changes how we deal damage to targets and many weapons are receiving some pretty major nerfs in damage. Time will tell
I'm a bloodied build with all relevant perks & armor etc and my Mole Miner Gauntlet can only do a maximum of about 1800dmg, I'm baffled how people get so much from 1 weapon & constantly feel like I'm doing things wrong. However, I need to rethink my build now because they nerfed Bloodied and now I can't get more than 389dmg. I feel like I'm hitting enemies with toilet roll :( And I just noticed your post is from 3 months ago >_< Sorry!
For raiders: Don’t do the grind! Glitch - do the “early retirement plan” daily quest, kill the dude, go back and speak to the woman, choose the second option and back out the second you click it. You will get the reputation but quest won’t end so you can keep talking to her and get rep in an hour or so. It’s that easy, thank me later.
I wish there was a little bit more variation on the daily quests, to release a huge dlc and have one single mission to repeat for foundation is a joke, plus half the time he can’t be arsed to get out of bed and talk to us 😂
Saw Ward in the field in front of Foundation and the wall had lots of grafiti on it from the Raiders and then on top of the wall was the guard which they must be blind and deaf to let not see Raiders spraying the wall.
This makes me want to get the Gauntlet and try to roll a Bloodied one. I have the Farmable Dirt Tiles and love them so much, I don't have to keep repairing them. And I am most defiantly getting the Turbo-Fert Fertilizer because that will give me unlimited supplies for my aid crafting. Grade A material for me to have, very beneficial. @Andres Guerrero I have the sink from the Atomic shop that does the same thing. The water well is great for people who missed that item or didn't have the points to get it. I find it great that there are things you can get in game that have the same function from the Atomic Shop, no one feels left out.
Actually for the water well it has a hidden feature if you instead of collecting water go to take a drink and then while the bucket is coming out of the well spam the collect button you will collect anywhere from 20 to 50 Waters at a time making it a better option if you need to get dirty waters for cooking then to use a regular water pump
You can spam collect with the water pump as well by doing a trick. Idk if the glitch got patched forsure though. Look it up sometime you might still be able to do it.

Just because it might not have been the most clearly said, but I know you know how it works. You can buy 10 legendary modules, for 50 Scrip each. Just figured someone newer who hasnt gotten to scripping legendaries.
You can already make an indoor farm with rugs and you can buy them using caps at a much cheaper price from a vendor at the whitespring studio 58 store (it is a daisy rug plan). You just place a rug down on a somewhat flat piece of dirt and then place the crop down so it is just barely on the edge of the rug. If done correctly you will be able to move the crop when you pick up the rug and you can then place that rug with the crop on it indoors. You can have more then 1 plant on the rug but I do not recommend going over 2-3 since it gets harder to do with each crop you add (harder to put crop on and harder to pick up the mat after). You can also blueprint the rug+crop once you have made it as well which will keep you from having to do a lot of the work again and you can place crops on rugs closer together then you can place crops on dirt or dirt tiles (my corn farm takes like 1 floor square but has like 20 corn in it). The melon and gourd crops are difficult to do and so you will only want to have 1 or 2 crops on a rug (I just do not have those plants since it is not really worth it).
I got the Water Well because you can drink and collect dirty water without getting rads. Though there is a trick to it for collecting, while its doing the bucket movement for the drinking action you can spam 'collect' to grab a lot of dirty water. Which I use to make boiled for food, mostly soups for my herbivore mutation. Which I grow ingredients for on my dirt tiles. Settler items are all about building and growing, kind of like them.

A small, yet super nice help for settler rep grind is to do Retirement Plan, tell the former raider you want to talk, and (with an 8+ CHR check) tell him to go to settlers. It’s on par with the normal Settler daily completion.
I haven't read trough the comments about the Water well but there's 1 thing that is positive about it. If you 'Drink' from the well, while the bucket is going up you can spam 'collect' till it gets up. If you do this quickly enough you can get around 20 to 50 Dirty water. That's only in a few seconds, so for the people who use allot of boiled water its pretty handy.
(A) on your console to drink the water from the well...as the bucket is slowing rising and then lowering spam (X) on your console to collect dirty water to boil you'll collect quite a lot quickly. Its pretty worth the price especially if your camp is placed in a area without water nearby.
Here's the thing about the farmable floor tiles: you can use floor mats to place crops anywhere you like. I have all my crops growing on my roof that way. Just place a mat on the ground (meaning outside in soil) then place your plant so it's touching the mat. Then lift the mat and place it anywhere. Mutfruit has a long root structure, so I had to place those on the edge of my roof with the roots hanging over the edge. Enjoy.
I got a 3-star Anti-armor Gauss Shotgun drop from the Fasnacht Event. My favorite weapon right now! Does a good amount of damage and I am spec'd for rifles.
Nuking plants at a camp doesn't cause nuked flora so kinda doubt it however maybe nuking somewhere like around the DaSilva homestead does so it may work there
Hey friend, awesome video. One addendum. The water well gives you dirty water if you collect, but it IS purified water if you consume it directly. So it's useful to put it in your camp and just return to your camp periodically to quench your thirst for free.
flares are used to light dark areas in case you dont have a flashlight or a torch. when you take off the cap and use the striker that pops down from inside the cap it lights up and irl it lights up quite a large area. you can actually light up a whole football field with only 3 flares irl. (the playing field, not the whole stadium.)
The water well is one of my favorite items. If you hold drink, and then spam collect till the animation ends you can get 30 to 52 dirty water without rads or disease. Much better than having to fast travel to a river and put on power armor. 🤔
You can avoid dirt tiles - just attach any food plant to a mat/bear skin - anything flat or even ceramic container with plant. Just bring close to it, so it snaps green. Then you can take it where ever you like - as any object. It works the same way as mat + chair with guitar or viola. It obviously doesn't look as good as dirt tiles, but it works.
Turbo is extremely useful for herbivore mutation builds as well which arguably gives better buffs compared to its meat alternative. The only downside to herbivore was having to constantly keep track of food items but the turbo fixes that problem completely 👍🏼
I just want to put this out there because it seems not many people know this, but, the Water Well is amazeballs. If you hold to 'drink' then immediately spam the 'collect' until the bucket goes all the way back down, you will actually collect between 30 to 50 dirty water. Then simply turn it in to boiled water. I normally do this 3 times & get around 150ish water afterwards. Worth it for a minute's worth of work! But you must drink first then spam collect. You can do exactly the same with the blue water pump, the sink etc, however, they won't give you anywhere near the amount in one go as the water well. Seriously people, the water well is worth it if you make a lot of foods/drinks or even sell the boiled water in your vendor. Sweet! I need boiled water for cooking so I can spam my well for anything from 90 to 120 dirty water in one bucket drop, but collecting water from a stream gives me nowhere near that. The water well is the fastest, and prettiest way to collect dirty water!
That boat plan you showed in the video you can actually get soon as you go to the foundation the compound bow you get when you max out the foundation or the Raiders they both have the same plans so technically which ever one you max out first is where you’re going to get the compound bow plan
The turbo fertilizer is actually better than it sounds. It allows you to plant fewer crops which frees up alot of camp budget and reduces server stress. I've been using the Gauntlet for awhile now and it's awesome.
The water well actually doesnt give you any radiation when collecting water vs the tap. So maybe it has some use there lol? Still would be one of the last things i buy
I sided with the Raiders and reached Allies with them and my friend had recently became Allies with the settlers after siding with them. I run a bar in my camp and for almost every brew able thing in the game needs crops. When he got the Turbo Fert I was so mad. Luckily I am over halfway through neighborly with the settlers at the moment.
The last level of the reputation was a hell of a grind. It took twice as long if not longer then the previous level. Almost like they didn't want people to reach Allied to fast. Took like 10 to 14 days of normal settler/raider dailies just to complete the last level alone. Was crazy.
you can look at the camp well as xp for dirty water can be bolid for xp then sell for few caps not alot but it can be use for more then just giving you water
Side Note, the Water Well's animation is much longer than the Sink/Water pump, so if you're making a lot of food that requires water it will take longer to get the amount you need. So it's primarily just an aesthetic thing.
I move my camp around, and those tiles from Foundation have eliminated having to replant crops when I move my camp. Just throw down the two platforms I've got my adhesive farm growing on, and it's good to go.
What they need to add is a players tribe or gang how ever you want to put it but have it so you have a set base where everyone in the group adds to and helps build and defend it and that it’s there all the time people could group up make a new town or a raider base depending on how they want to play but there’s so many things that could come from that set up factory’s or scavengers who go out and get goods for the group then even have wars on other teams or allie your self with others make trade routes for your settlement so the group makes money off of it even group quests that you start from your base
I've had a junkies, furious, instigating cattle prod...All delt it hard; fun. Gauss shot gun is awesome...well worth the rep with the settlers. I'm using a Mutants with faster fire rate and it drops enemies with ease.
All the pioneer scout backpack mods have a negative effect along with whichever mod. Grocery and chemist bag have no downside so ideally you’d want those
I hope we get a New Enclave Faction Questline with rep and rewards like X02 Power Armor, Ballistic Weave, and more stuff that would fit a Enclave faction.
I’ve been grinding gold for the T-65 armor so I’ve been doing all the daily missions that reward gold. I didn’t even realize that I just got max rep with raiders and I’m halfway through neighborly with settlers. Edit: I got max rep for both and have almost completed my T-65 set! Just the helmet left.
That water well isn't as bad as you think. Yes it does give you dirty water, however you can turn dirty water into boiled water. Which you can then use to make recipes.

also, there is an achievment on the consoles to get ally with both fractions. tbh, id do the grind bc of the achievment :D

Nuke experiment idea: drop a nuke on a camp full of crops and see if those fert grenades will bring back the plants for nuked flora!

Hey friend, awesome video. One addendum. The water well gives you dirty water if you collect, but it IS purified water if you consume it directly. So it's useful to put it in your camp and just return to your camp periodically to quench your thirst for free.
flares are a throw back from the orginal Fallout games, they were used as a light source.
flares are used to light dark areas in case you dont have a flashlight or a torch. when you take off the cap and use the striker that pops down from inside the cap it lights up and irl it lights up quite a large area. you can actually light up a whole football field with only 3 flares irl. (the playing field, not the whole stadium.)
you can choose to donate your reward to foundation for more points towards your reputation, more than the other two options ward offers

The water well is one of my favorite items. If you hold drink, and then spam collect till the animation ends you can get 30 to 52 dirty water without rads or disease. Much better than having to fast travel to a river and put on power armor. 🤔
You can do the same thing with a water pump.

You can avoid dirt tiles - just attach any food plant to a mat/bear skin - anything flat or even ceramic container with plant. Just bring close to it, so it snaps green.
Then you can take it where ever you like - as any object. It works the same way as mat + chair with guitar or viola. It obviously doesn't look as good as dirt tiles, but it works.
The well can give you a bunch of dirty water if you first drink and then spam collect as the bucket is doing its animation
Turbo is extremely useful for herbivore mutation builds as well which arguably gives better buffs compared to its meat alternative. The only downside to herbivore was having to constantly keep track of food items but the turbo fixes that problem completely 👍🏼

I just want to put this out there because it seems not many people know this, but, the Water Well is amazeballs.
If you hold to 'drink' then immediately spam the 'collect' until the bucket goes all the way back down, you will actually collect between 30 to 50 dirty water. Then simply turn it in to boiled water. I normally do this 3 times & get around 150ish water afterwards. Worth it for a minute's worth of work! But you must drink first then spam collect.
You can do exactly the same with the blue water pump, the sink etc, however, they won't give you anywhere near the amount in one go as the water well. Seriously people, the water well is worth it if you make a lot of foods/drinks or even sell the boiled water in your vendor.

@@EQOAnostalgia I have no water around me but I have 2 nodes I can farm. Why be just near water? I need boiled water for cooking so I can spam my well for anything from 90 to 120 dirty water in one bucket drop, but collecting water from a stream gives me nowhere near that. The water well is the fastest, and prettiest way to collect dirty water!
That boat plan you showed in the video you can actually get soon as you go to the foundation the compound bow you get when you max out the foundation or the Raiders they both have the same plans so technically which ever one you max out first is where you’re going to get the compound bow plan

I’m pretty sure you could also use the turbo fert on wild plants so you could farm flux with it
The turbo fertilizer is actually better than it sounds. It allows you to plant fewer crops which frees up alot of camp budget and reduces server stress.

no joke it took me and my friends to grinmd this 2pm to 4am daily so we did it in like 4 to 5 days. its worth it
You can get slightly more rep from Ward if you donate your quest reward to Foundation (you still get the gold bulion reward)

I know what flares are used for sir. However, a flare can get hot enough to burn you.
The water well actually doesnt give you any radiation when collecting water vs the tap. So maybe it has some use there lol? Still would be one of the last things i buy

I sided with the Raiders and reached Allies with them and my friend had recently became Allies with the settlers after siding with them. I run a bar in my camp and for almost every brew able thing in the game needs crops. When he got the Turbo Fert I was so mad. Luckily I am over halfway through neighborly with the settlers at the moment.

Ooo the gauntlet with the saw is pretty much the industrial hand from Fallout New Vegas
The last level of the reputation was a hell of a grind. It took twice as long if not longer then the previous level. Almost like they didn't want people to reach Allied to fast. Took like 10 to 14 days of normal settler/raider dailies just to complete the last level alone. Was crazy.
The last stretch of rep is equal to the sum of all other reputation ranks combined
I'm maxing both. Slowly working that raider one to max before ending with the Settlers.
Just a little tip there is glitch to max out raiders rep in about 20 minutes....but you didn’t hear that from me hehe
you can look at the camp well as xp for dirty water can be bolid for xp then sell for few caps not alot but it can be use for more then just giving you water
The Gauss Shotgun is my favourite weapon in the game. It's absolutely bonkers.
Side Note, the Water Well's animation is much longer than the Sink/Water pump, so if you're making a lot of food that requires water it will take longer to get the amount you need. So it's primarily just an aesthetic thing.

I move my camp around, and those tiles from Foundation have eliminated having to replant crops when I move my camp. Just throw down the two platforms I've got my adhesive farm growing on, and it's good to go.
My first gauss shotgun built was a bloodied with extra limb damage. Not bad. Says it does 1250+ per hit, but it does a lot more
i just got the plasma caster plan today and rolled 2 of them and got a bloodied fire rate pretty excited
What they need to add is a players tribe or gang how ever you want to put it but have it so you have a set base where everyone in the group adds to and helps build and defend it and that it’s there all the time people could group up make a new town or a raider base depending on how they want to play but there’s so many things that could come from that set up factory’s or scavengers who go out and get goods for the group then even have wars on other teams or allie your self with others make trade routes for your settlement so the group makes money off of it even group quests that you start from your base
I've had a junkies, furious, instigating cattle prod...All delt it hard; fun. Gauss shot gun is awesome...well worth the rep with the settlers. I'm using a Mutants with faster fire rate and it drops enemies with ease.
I grinded out max reputation for both factions and the day I got max for both, I got off and started playing Red Dead 2. Haven't played since.
All the pioneer scout backpack mods have a negative effect along with whichever mod. Grocery and chemist bag have no downside so ideally you’d want those
I hope we get a New Enclave Faction Questline with rep and rewards like X02 Power Armor, Ballistic Weave, and more stuff that would fit a Enclave faction.

I’ve been grinding gold for the T-65 armor so I’ve been doing all the daily missions that reward gold. I didn’t even realize that I just got max rep with raiders and I’m halfway through neighborly with settlers.
Edit: I got max rep for both and have almost completed my T-65 set! Just the helmet left.

That water well isn't as bad as you think. Yes it does give you dirty water, however you can turn dirty water into boiled water. Which you can then use to make recipes.
