these videos are incredibly helpful, I picked up an 025 for 10$ and despite it being made almost 40 years before I was born, it runs nice and smooth now, can't wait to get the film developed

Hi Chris, just a quick note to say 'thanks' for posting these very informative and detailed videos. These cameras are beautiful and so well made that they deserve to keep going into this new 'film' era and be used on a daily basis - not just stuffed in a drawer somewhere. Just wish you were nearer so I could send you my collection of Retina's!
If anything the taking apart and especiall(!) the putting back together are the key bits of information for me. Having not spent too long restoring cameras it is really hard to know what to lightly oil, what to clean, how to adjust, etc. and your videos certainly help. Keep them up mate - they are very very useful.

Love your technical terminology, can’t go past officially buggered.

Chris, you're totally amazing! I've been waiting to see you do a Retina Reflex 025 for months. Can't wait to watch these. It's a relief to know that the service procedure for this so-difficult camera has been documented. Still very grateful to you for fixing mine. I love the Reflex models, despite their rather cranky nature. Thanks and keep the videos coming!

You find a lot of people that rob parts from cameras then sell them on ebay or etsy as good working cameras. These people know full well what the state of the camera is but they prey on people anyway. They are indeed mean bastards.
