Watching you, Farmtruck, pulling down those forms, takes me back in time to 1979, I was working for Sapps Construction, doing poured walls, I started off "Packin' forms", in Columbia, Missouri. Started off with 2'X4' wooden forms, weighing 85 pounds each on our shoulders. We wound up having places sore, we didn't know we had. Just wanted to share that with you. Love your show, you and Azn, keep up the good work (fun), lol.
A lot of people think concrete is just concrete! 10 years plus in the Navy Submarine Service (SS) - got out and worked for a local construction company up in Washington for 9 1/2 years I worked with the union concrete finishers as a union carpenter and mostly poured foundations but, We had the occasional government project. and developed quite the respect for people who work in the industry,, 1976 I bought a 68 Camero, 302 and Z PACKAGE, now 70,000 miles and the new parts pile is huge, qtrs interior, etc. just need to find a bucket of gumption! Thx for the vids. Have AZN kink the pump hose once
Im glad yaw have one my cousing lived in.moore and lost her home.in.both of those big tornadoes that went thru there. She rebuilt her home right back there again after the second one and luckily she had an indoor storm shelter in het home. She wasmt home the first one that went thru but she was there when the second f 5 went thru there. Good luck and god bless. Hopefully yaw wont ever need that thing but its nice to know its there if you ever do.
In reference to your statement, your Lady wants the "Peace of mind", hoping you never have to use it. The old saying "It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it", has always struck true to me. Again, thanks for sharing.
Funny, I was just out to OK the other day and noticed all of the tornado shelters. Not somewhere I would want to live. And if I did then I'd build the tornado shelter into or at least connected to the home. No way I'm running through hail, rain and wind to get to a shelter.
You guys are Awesome!!! Would love to see more of y'all for sure!!! Been watching y'all since day one of "Street Outlaws" and miss your antics when we don't see y'all in a while!!! Thanks for the video!!! Keep'em coming please. Be great to see some hot rod stuff for sure!!!!
The way that Farmtruck feels when he wants to spend a day with the construction crew is the same way I feel about spending a day with FnA. Just a regular day so I can organize/clean the shop.
I love how Azn just takes off the second a spider is mentioned. If he was a rocket he would be at the moon by the time Farm truck asks him to come back.
LMAO is that R2D2 Grand father. Hey guys it's always awesome to watch your videos. Hope you guys put out more videos and can't wait to watch the new season of F/A God bless you guys stay safe and keep the videos rolling.
FarmtruckandAZN forever my favourite duo of racing haha the nitro chair cemented that jk jk lol, been watching since the beginning when ol’ Louise was barking out the window of the farmtruck and I can’t wait to see what’s next ♥️
Azn was trying so hard to be enthusiastic about all of it, but still managed the comedy. He is a genuinely funny guy . They seem to have really tight bond. Great video guys. I laughed all the way.👍💗😆
How’s it going guys? Again it amazes me how different things are from coast to coast, up here everyone you talk to is a carpenter, a plumber, an electrician, a Jack of all trades and a master of none, lol 😂. But seriously growing up I had several construction jobs doing framing and carpentry and that old recycled lumber costs more than new lumber. People are making big dollar taking old barns apart and selling the repurposed old beams and weathered lumber. It has that look you can’t buy and so many people want. Right now I’m working on my property completely gutting a two bedroom two bath trailer and when it’s done it won’t be a trailer anymore and turning the garage into a game room/ bar. I love to play billiards and because of covid you can’t play anywhere and all the leagues are shut down so I’m going to create my own spot to play and have a drink if I choose to and who knows maybe start up a league of my own, a money league where if you come to play you better have something in your pocket, just like you guys go fishing for races I’ll hook people for a game of pool and maybe open up a sort of speakeasy . And they don’t have to put a level on it , it self levels as long as the forms are set up correctly every else goes smooth and then someone will float the top layer with a trowel or even a 2x4 working it back n forth smoothing out the top level. When doing bigger areas they will use a power trowel it looks like a ceiling fan upside down with a motor on top and handles on the side . I used to also work for a concrete company doing poured foundations setting up the forms and using that long vibrator to get the air bubbles out and before all that was done a rebar frame would be in the middle of the wall to prevent the concrete from cracking and adding strength to the finished product. I’ve done blown insulation and learned to weld from an early age which is what I do for a living today, creating art from repurposed materials that I’ve been collecting from auctions, flea markets , yard sales, junk yards and peoples garbage. They throw out a old broken shovel and I’ll turn it into a cool face that you hang on a tree or something for decoration, I turn old pipe wrenches into dragonflies and use old horse shoes to create many things. That Ford tailgate you bought for 50$ I’d turn into an awesome bench worth anywhere from 800 to 1500$. I do that now because I was injured 6 years ago and could no longer work my 9-5 job. In that way it was the best thing that happened to me because now I’m my own boss and get to create things that people will have for generations. Thanks again guys for sharing and the time and hard work you put into your channel, I appreciate it. Take care and stay safe and healthy.
For a guy like myself who had a concrete construction company or a guy who worked in the trade there's really no 'secrets' to do a pour like this but if they want it to be a 'secret' thas OK ;) My question,, did they get an inspection on the reinforcing prior to the pour? Don't know about where Farm Truck lives but in my part of the West Coast, if the construction forming, reinforcing and electrical (assuming there's conduit in the walls) wasn't inspected and approved by the city/county or state building and electrical department you'll have tons of issues when he or anyone goes to sell the place.
Farm truck, azn, COME ON ALREADY. If you have tools use the right one, a sawzall will allow you to cut nails save the studs, makes fast work of it. Come to East Lansing MI, lessons will begin.
Hey wheres the fresh air come into the structure? That thing is pretty sweet looking. I definitely laughed when i heard someone tried to kiss me. Funny an entertaining as always.
farm truck and AZN PLEASE ask, or tell discovery channel to make a street outlaws show. but this time with actual street cars!! let's make it similar to F.A.S.T.(factory appearing stock tire) for those not familiar with this class. you can do anything you want to the internals, cams, P & P the heads, etc same for the transmission, and rear end. if it came from the factory with leaf springs/torsion bars. then that's the type of suspension you use. of course traction bars, or ladder bars would be accepted, and even encouraged. in the F.A.S.T. class. you have to run tires with the same width as it came with from the factory. in this show i'm begging for, tire width would be unlimited, BUT they have to be treaded street tires. and i mean REAL TREADED STREET TIRES! not a slick with a couple of grooves in it. also, no bead locks of any kind. the cars should have full interior. and no gutting of the car. meaning it has to have a floor, inner fender wells, etc. also no carbon fiber hoods, doors, trunks, etc. in other words REAL STREET CARS! it would be like real street racing before people like chief and the rest of the street outlaws started racing purpose built race cars that they call "street cars". i don't really care if discovery has cops shutting down the road. but i, and many others want to see real street cars racing on real street tires the way street racing used to be!! and before anyone who doesn't know any better tells me you "can't race on D.O.T. tires". or that it'd be too "slow". in the F.A.S.T. class there's a mopar on a tires that's roughly 8 inches wide and he turns 9's!! let's see who ACTUALLY has the fastest street cars in the country!! it would separate the men from the boys. and show the younger guys that you CAN build a car and be fast/quick on street tires. the mickey Thompson tires are a good example of a good treaded tire with soft compound. it would also keep knowledge from being lost. the older guys know what i'm talking about. little tips and tricks to get a car hooked up on street tires ....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do this!! many of us are sick of these shells they call street cars. and want to see real street cars!!

Shoutout from Copenhagen Denmark 🇩🇰
we have done same in finland since 50's
I believe Farmtruck when he says he would give up his spot for his neighbor I really believe he would do that.
Of course he might just be starting to worry about going nuts, while entombed in that crazy echo chamber! 😆
Farm truck is the father figure to aszn
8:21 bet that look from Azn was the same look he had the first time he climbed the rope in gym class.
