- If you purchase a graphic from Creative Fabrica (or any graphics supplier), you may want to edit the picture or vector file. In this walkthrough, I cover a few basic techniques you can use to modify your SVG (vector) file or your PNG (graphic) file.
If you're a print on demand designer, you might already know about the incredible graphics, fonts and bundles on Creative Fabrica. However, there are actually a lot more cool things on Creative Fabrica that can really help you out with your graphic design, low content book, digital crafting or just about any commercial or non-commercial art project.

Very helpful - cracked me up with "rinky-dink" :)
I am just learning a vector file versus a png, svg etc. I am not going to lie, I am a bit overwhelmed and need a course on how to go from a to b step by step. Thanks
For sure - this is a simple overview: th-cam.com/video/_dFQEi5SHhQ/w-d-xo.html
Awesome. Thank you 😊
@0:43 one row below your cat and far right "Funny Cat, 15 SVG Designs". If you select this file and use inkscape or photoshop to select only one of the images, how can you do that from a PC, not MAC? I have a lot of images/files from creative fabrica multiple designs on one images but I don't know how to select the one I need and place it on a small png file. Please help?
Yes this is a great question and you are right - sometimes bundles are all one design which can be frustrating. Hopefully this video helps! th-cam.com/video/xiXvmXbRJAc/w-d-xo.html
They also have a new license, just for POD.
Hey crafty, What version of Photoshop did use in this video?
Long time follower of your content :) awesome tutvids.
Yes I have an ancient old version of Photoshop that I have had for 10+ years (Photoshop CS2, version 9.0). It still works and it's free (it was a one-time purchase, I believe on a CD-ROM it was so long ago).
Yet another way to edit a vector file (at least simple ones): Open it in your text editor (Mousepad, Geany, Emacs, GEdit, whatever you prefer). It's just an XML file. If it's complex, then it's probably not a great idea, though.
I've purchased several vector images from CF recently but my problem is trying to separate the 9 or 12 images etc. from each other which appear in the same vector image download. I've tried Affinity Designer and Photo plus Photopea and now Vectinator. I'm sure it's quite simple to do but the best way (please advise) but it is baffling and frustrating me completely. I've looked at a lot of youtube videos trying to understand the above but quite often the presenter(s) don't explain the 'why's properly with the matching steps needed e.g.the relationship between layers, rasterize, creating bitmap etc. Anyway, hope you can help point me in the right and simple direction using the most appropriate software. Thank you.
This is great feedback and I will make a video showing the fix! Thank you for the suggestion!
Zen, is there a reason you did not extract the files from the zip file?
Instead of copying and pasting like you did.
Thank you.
No you can totally extract them - I am just old school and like to copy them but absolutely you can do that. Whatever works!
@@craftystax Thanks Zen.
How do you create a Vector file?simple way please
Inkscape is free and I have a bunch of tutorials - that is what I recommend! th-cam.com/video/oWL8Qc7vTbk/w-d-xo.html
