- This is the last playthrough of this game where I play as a heroic character. Everyone else from this point on will be a villain.
Since Capcom made this game, try your best not to confuse X-Men's Iceman here with one of Mega Man's Robot Masters called "Ice Man". They both have very similar powers, but they also have very different looks, and when it comes to right and wrong, they're opposites (usually).
I read somewhere that Iceman has incredible blocking defense against projectiles in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. It looks like that applies to here, too, even though I realize now that I didn't block a lot in this video.
It's hard to do, but up close, you can chain his Arctic Attack super combo into a hard kick, and then chain that into an Avalanche. That super combo of his seems to be the most hardest-hitting one in the whole game.
His special ability here is to turn his fist into a hardened ball of pain that does more damage and increases his punches' range a little bit. I'd rather not use it too often and just save that meter for his Arctic Attack.

In Iceman's ending, he's forced to leave Magneto behind as Magneto wishes to perish with his exploding Avalon. With his threat gone for the time being, Bobby decides to take a beach vacation, as carefree as he is.
This beach vacation involved showing off his ice sculpturing skills to a couple of kids and three women in bikinis (he's a ladies man). The girl that's talking to him specifically is the short-haired one to the right, as she wants to see if Iceman can make a perfect ice sculpture of her.
He sometimes jokes around by sculpturing a different lady, and then he really clowns around when he makes ice sculptures of Mojo, Juggernaut, and even Magneto! HA!

Y'know, a critical irony of this ending scene is how I read up one time that Iceman is actually gay, and that all of his womanizing, or just being straight in general, is actually just a front to avoid being persecuted for it.
Is... that all true?
I like how when iceman makes a sculpture of himself the sculpture stays there even when he moves after the round ends (via holding start after the round ends). Capcom could have easily not do that but they did (Works for his name ice sculpture as well)! The attention to detail Capcom has is legendary.
I find it amusing how Iceman in the beginning of his battles is literally the words Iceman
Magneto was such an awesome boss character. It's a shame what they did to him in X-men vs. Street Fighter.
What did they do?
At the ending, when Iceman conjures a sculpture of Magneto. Girl says it's horrible, but Iceman suddenly goes quiet. Girl asks what's wrong, Iceman almost looks like he's going to say something introspective. But he quickly reverts back to his glib "Yeah he's even worse in person!"
I hope in the MCU they bring back Iceman and make him into the badass he really is, ice sliding and all!
Magneto it's the most unfair boss Capcom made you can't actually beat him sometimes the cpu just does nothing in order to let you an opportunity to win.
Don't worry my friend. I'm a master at this game. I can beat the game without a single defeat including, Magneto! He is DEF tough but he's totally beatable once you discern his patterns!! Just takes lots of trial and error and of course, practice! :]

I don't think there's a name but you may want to check out Bengus (the one who did most of capcom's art around that time and is a freelancer atm).
I am not caught-up on so many events when it comes to Marvel, but when I heard that 'they' were making Iceman 'gay', I was a bit upset as I wouldn't see Iceman being one.

Not the arcade? I see on M.A.M.E. ten characters at select screen this game. Magneto goes to the top of the screen a shoots those two diagonal beams at me. Then he does shockwave alot. I have not tried the aggressive ice throws though perphaps that will work if well timed.

It looks like part of the inner tube she's holding in her other hand.
Looks like the outline of the leg accidently blended with the brunette's leg so it looks really off.

I know this is late, but everyone says Ice Man is only gay now because of Jean Grey.
He's been gay way before Jean Grey btw.
He isn't gay and any true fan can tell you that. Iceman only became gay because of the SJW movement and propaganda. Iceman has never been gay but the SJW's have been changing everything at MARVEL and most fans and even the LGBT hated this change because it was the biggest joke in comic book history. Don't change a 50+ years comic history of a character and retcon his history by just saying, "oh Iceman is gay now-deal with it" making no sense to the characters backstory and creating loopholes.
