I would like to recall that in 1993 when we entered into Govt. law colleges we hardly found 10-15 women who wanted to pursue law. Important here, 95% of them were privileged as they didn't belong to the Ist generation Lawyers. Similar situation we evidenced when we entered into practice, very few ladies used to take up litigation as their main practice area. There was men Advocates' lobby who never thought of a situation that a first generation lady Advocate aslo could shine as a litigation lawyer. Yes, I fully agree with Justice Kohli to establish in career as women lawyer, we had to work harder may be almost double than that of our Male Advocates. I further wish to mention like doctors we also require proper Infrastructure at all levels and POSH and laws dealing with harrassment on women lawyers should be made stringent in consultation with all stake holders.
As pointed by you, Ma'am, Listing in Supreme court is problematic. It is unpredictable, uncertain and confusing. Registry guves tentative dates which are always changing. Forget litigants, Advocates have to recruit persons to keep records of endlessly changing dates.
interesting to know that judges practice discrimination against women, promote homosexuality and then expect common citizens to follow equality. Hypocrisy at its peak.
The influencing powers exercised by POLITICS on JURISPRUDENCE is indeed very Disconcerting and demoralizing, especially HONEST JUDGES. This is very conspicuous in RURAL INDIA wherein POLITICAL POWER makes a MOCKERY of law. If the Court does not toe their drawn lines, the concerned law enforcers are either sacked, or transferred to some remote village. MONEY with POLITICAL POWER IS A DEADLY COCKTAIL

Yes women have to work hard...because men too worked hard and established themselves in workplaces...society knows men and their performance...women to need to deliver that before society has same trust on them as well...but majority representation women have is through reservations..womens number shrinks rapidly if only selection factor is talent...soo yaa women do need to work as good as men ...instead of just feeling entitled to same respect that men have earned...

Excellent Interview. Justice Kohli has expressed about her faith in our constitutional values & morality without showing any thing contrary

Cute , gorgeous smart ENOUGH most talented young juge ever remembering
Professional jurisprudence leaves little room for GENDER BIAS and PREJUDICES. It is performance that matters most, not gender.

Humor in women is equated to not being serious/sincere. Humor in men is thought of as glossy gift wrap on a priced package. Oh the biases!
