I’m a huge fan of Phillip……he’s fantastic! Great solo. The late great Dennis Irwin pointed out that when a bass is accompanying just one or two other payers that playing a little quieter can sound really good. All of that said this is great, swinging and great playing and singing.

To be fair, this is just his sound. If Tyreek wanted a player who would play softly then he'd probably have got someone else. That being said, there's no doubt he can't play quietly/softly, but clearly that's not what has been asked of him here.
