In this live webinar, Roger Caddell (AiM Sports National Training Manager) discusses a question he gets often, 'Should I use GPS Speed or Wheel Speeds for data analysis?'.
Roger starts off with a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of GPS based speeds, wheel speeds, and even air speeds from Pitot tubes.
Then he uses 6 different 'real world' Race Studio 2 Analysis examples showing speed data from GPS, Wheel, and Pitot tube speeds and specific analysis tips proving that having both GPS Speeds and Wheel Speeds can be very useful for full data analysis.
The data analysis examples are from the following forms of motorsports; Road Race Motorcycle (2), Dirt Oval Kart, Road Race Car, Drag Racing, and Pitot Tube speed from a Road Racing Car.
