That was really beautiful. Elvis and Ann Margaret were great together. They had good chemistry. Both on and off screen. I think Elvis would of done better with someone older to begin with. Priscilla was just too young for Elvis. Ann and Elvis were on the same level. Both could sing and act too. Thus song was sooo cute and sexy at the same time. Thank you for sharing with us. A fan of Elvis for life. More than 63 years now. Long live Elvis!!
Steve Lehman Right, they had a great chemistry at that time, but I think, if they had become a couple and got married, the circumstances would be the same: Elvis constant night life, too much touring, uppers and downers, probably other women and other things. Ann Margret would have been alone far to often like Priscilla. And Ann Margret was much more confident then the younger Priscilla. Ann Margret would have left Elvis the same, probably earlier and with more vehemence, not so quite like Priscilla. Like Elvis sang it in the Frankie and Johnny movie: "What every woman lives for, is to give her love to a man!" Priscilla only had moments for that and Ann Margret would only have had that moments too. Not enough for a woman.

This is a great duet! I enjoyed the professional and focused rehearsal. Elvis always sings rehearsals partly mezza voce, to spare his voice. Lots of singers do. And always at the right time he gives it all. Regarding the movie: I see the chemistry between them clearly. And the way Elvis smiles in between say it all.😂
