- I kinda noticed this over the past month and it's been bothering me not to make a video about it since no one else did it yet so here it is, Um Jammer Lammy Easter eggs/Refrences in Parappa the rapper 2.

*the best reference is when hairdresser octopus says "introducing the new flava" which is an obvious refference to parrapa the rapper 2 stage 5 where he says "introducing the new flava"*

I just noticed a cute little detail from the easter egg in the thumbnail, where Parappa's beanie folds over at the top because it's too big for his space helmet.

You forgot the most simple one to find, Stage 5 intro. In the cutscene, lammy says her phrase "Leave it to Lammy!".
69 likes. The only reason I'm not liking is because I don't want to ruin it.
Here's a few ones that may have not been on here.
1. In Stage 3 (more easily found in COOL Mode of the stage) You can find miscellaneous objects that can be found in COOL mode of Stage 4 of Um Jammer Lammy.
2. in Stage 2, Chop Chop Master Onion has his stem from the last game, albeit a bit shorter.
3. In Stage 3's Cutscene, you can find a recolor of the alien found in Um Jammer Lammy's Stage 4 COOL Mode.
Also, a few things to point out that aren't exactly references.
n the Bonus Game, CCMO somehow has gotten his Dojo back.
During Stage 7's Cutscene, when Parappa calls to ready a Sweet Attack, he strangely sounds like his 1st game/Um Jammer Lammy voice.
At the Stage 4 cutscene you see Parappa's rocket exploded, which is a reference to Parappa the Rapper 1 Stage 5 failure

1. In the fail for Stage 5 of PTR1, the rockets flies a little and crashes.
when in PTR2 it just explodes before taking off.
Except for the obvious one in Stage 5 cutscene. But I guess that one's too obvious.

In the Save Menu, Captain Fussenpepper can be seen on the desk. Edit: I spelled Fussenpepper wrong. (PussenPepper)
I just realised,octopus hairdresser could be a reference to pilot guy. They both turn red and kinda crazy when they hear music.

You're right on the fact that they both change emotions, but the reason how is wrong. Fussenpepper only changes emotions whenever his head gets bonked on by one of the overhead panels. Hairdresser Octopus just turns red hot when some noodle-mind-control-music-thingy plays. Or (If you're the anime guy) Whenever someone messes with something H.O owns.

You forgot the most noticeable easteregg in lesson 6 aka the octopus. Before the song starts, the Unjammer Lammy intro into a level plays before Parrappa says I GOTTA BELIEVE!!!
More specifically the intro for the first level of UJL, the whole tossing the guitar animation.

Why dafaq wasn't lammy playable in Parappa the Rapper 2??! I mean Parappa was playable in Um Jammer Lammy, So why not vice versa ,I mean that's bullshit.
Um Jammer Lammy is a better sequel to Parappa than Parappa 2
Yeah they would have needed to do a lot of work. All eight stages have 17 difficulties (accessable through an easter egg), for a total of 136 full charts. The developers would need to write 32 new songs (8x4[cool good bad awful]) and make 136 level charts, as well as make new animations and sprites. Even if they could cram all that into the game, it would take more resources than the developers probably had.
You missed one - stage 5 where Lammy does the "Leave it to Lammy!" carchphrase, plus the guitar goes around the world, which I believe happens in UJL.

well mooselini is actually female because moosheesha says “My sister”
she is in the game so makes sense

In um jammer lammy in the cutscene for fright flight when he forgets the buttons you can see a screen that says try again? with parappa on it.
Hair scare is pretty close too flight Fright
1 the name: [inserted thing] [insert synonym of "spook" that rhymes with said thing]
2 both teachers have multi personality disorder and their switch is also caused by an electric device of some kind
3 both teachers have a job but one of their personalities is pretty bad at it
4 both stages switch between two styles of rapping (Fussenpepper switches between quick but predicteble and slow but off-beat, Takoyama is shouting commands but near the end he starts shouting full sentences)
5 the name-voice relation is whack: Fussenpepper sounds German, and trust me when I say that it's really hard for German people to nail that English accent. Takoyama's Japanese name does not match up with his Spanish accent.
6 failing the stage is the canon ending, um jammer Lammy full-on crashes the plane and Takoyama removes PaRappa's hat in Sunny Funny's music video.
7 failing the stage would realistically result in both the death of multiple people (having a afro bigger then the hairsalon you got it in would suffocate you) and the teacher losing their job.
In the first cut scene in the game, Lammy had to go to the bathroom but she had to rap to use it. Parappa the Rappa 1 reference
Plus it showed the 4 opponents that you fight in ptr1 when it LETS RAP FOR IT

2 things I saw in Um jammer lammy that was not in the video
1. Parappa is in the background in stage 4 on a pink thing
2. When the plane crashes there is a sign of the chicken from parappa 1
also in the stage 2 cutscene, when parappa’s dad shrinks himself and general potter, he says that he cut a few corners. it may be a stretch but i see this as a refrence to got to move

Another Easter egg was in the first level because when Lammy was late, she was thinking of an excuse. She was saying she had to go to the bathroom but the others in line said they’d rap for it. This was obviously a reference to Parrapa the Rapper since Parrapa had to go to the bathroom and had rapped for it. This reference is very noticeable since it is literally in the cutscene for the first level, more commonly known as the Tutorial level. That’s all.

Lammy is just a normal character in the series, it's not a "reference" just to have her in the game. He's talking about hidden references to parts of ujl that you wouldn't normally find. I mean heck, in the octopus hairdresser part Lammy actually talks and stuff

You forgot something. When the octo thing that is a barber is starting lesson 1,you can see Lammy at the start or when you go into You rappin' cool mode,you will have to cut lammys hair
