Thankyou Mikey, RJ and the people of Iloilo for sharing their festival and culture with us , It's now something this Australian would like to witness for himself .See you all next year in Iloilo for Dinagyang 2026.
The group performances at Dinagyang were mind-blowing! Filipinos really are very talented. This makes me want to experience Dinagyang festival in the future. Drooling over those mouth-watering Iloilo foods. Wowwww for the Aquarium cafe. 😮😍
Hi Kuya Mikey & Kuya RJ! I’ve been a silent fan for a long time already, and this is my first time commenting. I just wanted to thank you for taking us along with you to the Dinagyang Festival. I was born and raised in Iloilo City but migrated to Montréal, Québec🇨🇦 in 2018, and I’ve been missing Iloilo a lot lately. I also miss Richmonde Hotel, where I did my practicum (or “stage,” as we call it here) back in 2017. It’s always so nice to see Ms. Nat and some of the staff I met there featured in your vlogs. I really hope I can return to Iloilo very soon! J’espère aussi qu’on va se voir ici à Montréal un jour! 💖
Great festival! Better than Canadian Caribbean festival. That rainforest like restaurant is amazing! Goodness you don't have to go to the zoo. Amazing content!
25:42 I already watched many food vlogs, but as an ilonggo citizen, this part of your vlog really stands out for me 🤩🤩🤩 I just tought before that we're just awarded because of our best siopao, inasal, KBL, seafoods and batchoy. But now, i am really convinced and proud that our city awarded as a city of gastronomy 😍 25:42 starts of my surprises, all the foods you ordered is very new to me... 🤩🤩🤩 I really want to try it ❤❤❤
Buong january si mikey lang pinapanood ko halos araw araw. Grabe yung energy mo and aura. Nag rradiate sa screen everytine pinapanood kita. Ang calming lang. And i love how excited you are everytime. I love people like that. Ang dami ko palaging natututunan sayo mikey. Loveyou so much!!! Wag ka muna mamamatay kasi happy pill kita gow 🫶🏻🫵
Wow, what an amazing video that showcases the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo. The 8 Dinagyang tribes who participated were world-class and impressive, and only one was declared to be the best of the best (Paghidaet Tribe). Their performances can compete with those of "Ka" by Circus de Soleil in Las Vegas. The level of enthusiasm, choreography, costumes, and drumming were awe-inspiring. If they were brought to Vegas, I think they would be able to compete with any Vegas shows.
Lions, Tigers, Snakes...oh my!🙀. That restaurant was amazing. Loved how he decorated the tanks. Something else. A great contact too. Festival was amazing. You both are such celebrities, they treat you both like Princes. Thank you for a great, uplifting video!
Iloilo City is where I was born and raised until Oct. 2005 I left live in Illinois USA! Thanks for loving Iloilo🤓and thank you for sharing especially the food😋I love watching you eat always😍
Dear RJ and Mikey, Thank you both for sharing such a delightful vlog. Danny and I absolutely loved it! Your vivid portrayal has truly inspired us to revisit the beautiful Philippines and uncover even more of its wonders. Warm regards, Alan & Danny Ottawa, Canada
Been binge watching your videos, i like the positive vibes i get every time. Of course i always look forward to watching your Iloilo vlogs. I hope to meet you one day and because we are Pilipinos, we will take pictures togeder 😂
Wowwww ❤️amazing performance Mikey. Happy Dinagyang to all Iloilo people. Great food as well and great friends you have. Continue spreading good vibes Mikey and RJ and sorry for the bird. Feel sad too. Hope the people who saw the bird will take good care or return it in Mabuhay squad🙏🙏❤️
Welcome Mikey and Rj in the city of love so proud to see you both here in Iloilo Dinagyang 2025 and composing the song for us . Love you both guys . ❤❤❤
The aquarium cafe I'm sure is a great experience, but I think the animals, at least the snakes, have not enough space to move around. I worry about their health when they are in such a tiny space.
The headdress of the performers really reminds me of Aztec headdresses. That was a fun show. How Awesome was that cafe. Nice to see you united with friends ❤
I missed the Dinagyang Festival... It has been a while since I have celebrated it. We live close by to GT mall Pavia... It's nice to know Sir Allen is the owner 😊 Palangga ka man namon Mikey and RJ❤
Hi Mikey and RJ I'm glad that you're enjoying the Dinagyang feast of Iloilo.I love the whole vlog that you've shared with us,kaya lang your number during the prog,is so very little/short, I'm happy to see again ms.Natalie and mr.Tan, they are so very accommodating and friendly. You're vlog is always gives warm in our hearts God bless both of you guys 🙏🌷🌻
Yo Mikey! Wish I was there to watch your performance, but I’m happy you enjoyed your trip here in Iloilo! My fam and I are here rn for vacation and we currently just got back to Guimaras! Hope you come here on your next trip cuz it’s a beautiful island here. Take care and keep being amazing! Thanks to you and your animal companions! 🎉
Awesome gastronomy in the City of Love (ILOILO)! I like Richmond hotel too. It is spacious and the rooms are much better than the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and Shangri-la in Makati.
Hi Mikey! My 10 year old son loves to watch your vlogs. Please do a shout out to him on your next video, his name is Diego Roy of Virginia Beach USA 🇺🇸. Btw, he called you Kuya Mikey and he never forgets your advice to always practice to play piano everyday. Take care of you always . ❤
I couldn’t imagine myself eating in the middle of that animal museum.. when things get out of hand, and most of those wild ones got loose. Weeh! I hope the place is highly secured.
Wish you could have shown more of your performance, Mikey. Meanwhile, my laptop's screen is covered at the moment with streaks from my fingers trying to reach in for some of tht food. Hint to the wise: do *not* watch Mikey's food-related videos when you're hungry. And have a screan cleaner handy if you do. ; )
Are those native _Penelopides_ hornbills? AFAIK, you're not even allowed to own those. Almost all of them are endangered. If they are, please do not collect endangered wildlife, we have so few of them left.
Mikee you have to be honest. But you know some of those animals shouldnt be in that cafe place. That poor tiger, it looks too young to be in a cage. Its all pretty messed up
Thank you!. It's shocking how many positive comments there are about this. Several of the animals in this video have injuries or are in inappropriate enclosures. I thought Mikey was more educated than to support places like these. I've been uneasy for a while because he seems to be more into animal hording these days than taking care of the animals he has. Unfollowing.
the colors of their festival reminds of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I also love when you have the face towel on what you do with it, it is funny and cute. Keep up the good work and have a blast
It's fine for animals like fish, reptiles, inverts, etc. But it becomes ethically problematic, to say the least, when it's tigers or native hornbills being "collected". Reminds me of that private zoo Mikey visited where there was a really sad orang-utan asking for softdrinks. I mean, keeping animals as a hobby is great. But it's not a competition on who can collect the rarest and most endangered animals. You also need to understand which animals should NOT be "collected." It's not Pokemon. You need to be responsible.
@@AngryKittens It's not "fine" for some animals. At least one of those caiman had a snout injury, and those boa's were in a tank WAY too small. Plus some of those fish (31:04) had been dyed unnatural colours, which is painful for the fish and means they have shortened lives.
@ (Most) reptiles don't need that much space or activity. Their conditions are not ideal, but it's nowhere as bad as the animals that actually _need_ a lot of space and stimulation. Glo-fish are GMO. They're not dyed, they're genetically modified. I've never heard of it being painful or shortening their lifespan. Aquarium fish, in general, live longer than in the wild. And that tank is more than big enough and well-maintained. It's actually worse for the environment if they get released into the wild.
@ I'm not defending what he's doing (obviously, from my first reply). But animals don't have the same needs. Some are fine for the pet-keeping hobby. Others are not. A good indicator that a "hobbyist" doesn't understand that, is when they keep animals with very different needs in the same conditions. Or worse. When they keep animals whose needs we don't know, because they're rare or endangered and have not been studied enough. Some of these should be in a conservation program with people with actual degrees. Not displayed in a "collection."
Thankyou Mikey, RJ and the people of Iloilo for sharing their festival and culture with us , It's now something this Australian would like to witness for himself .See you all next year in Iloilo for Dinagyang 2026.

Is there entrance fee to that animal sanctuary/fish aquarium/restaurant? What’s the name of that place?
Whats your favorite airline to fly? I like Cebu Pacific. First airline a flew from manila to iloilo in 2010 was zest air
Did you ever find your parrot that got loose
No, it still hasn't come back home. 😭
I had a friend who used to wash his armpits with his welcome towel , may I add after he wiped his hands.
29:50 You should get a pig-nosed turtle for the Bermuda Rectangle.
Give my regards to Atty.Jobert and his wife.
You were served a FULL MEAL during the flight to Iloilo?! How long was the plane ride, Mikey? Were you in First Class? Nice ....
