Exterior is attractive - but then so is the standard C5. Some beautiful details. Interior is exquisite though and so classic Citroen in its idiosyncrasy.
@derbigpr500 My french is a little rusty but I'm pretty sure the voice over says that the chrome bar is a more discrete in real life than in photos. The look of modern cars is harder and harder to judge just by photo.
It's not really beautiful but it's kinda daring and the interior seems to be a very good place to live. I wish I could have one of these at my work. :D
@tomtom3245 If by rivals you means cars that cost about the same, (BMW 5, Mercedes E class, Audi A6, Jaguar XF), then, YES, I would buy DS5 over any of those without a doubt, especially the hybrid version. I'd buy Citroen C6 over any of those as well. It might not be better, but I like it more because its different. The only thing I dont like about DS5 is that chrome line stretching from headlights to side mirrors. Without it , car would look lower and wider, more dynamic.

Insulting VW to make Citroen shine just a bit was totally wrong and unjustifiable. 2. Citroen TODAY has been plagued with cheap and creaky french plastique that's flimsier than chinese toys. 3. In what place is Citroen even among the french? Third place ouf of just three brands? 4. How many markets Citroen has reached in nearly 100 years of existence?

Less engine, less reputation, less build quality, less warranty, less fit and finish (specially the interior) and depreciates faster than a GM stock option. Only plus is the De Gaulle-era hydropneumatic suspension. Citroen "alone"? You mean PSA (Citroen+Peugeot), the latter outselling Citroen 3 times over. Thanks to Peugeot together they manage 10th place. Citroen alone sells less than Tata and those new Chinese brands.

And french cars are (according to GERMAN Adac) all on top in reliability. Obviously, french cars arent for everyone...

FACT 2 : Right when youfind that the only good thing remaining in your C6 is the supple hydraulic suspension it will time for a suspension dealer-only tune-up that will cost closer to the whole car's resale value.
