A tip for the stencil, use Pixie Spray, it’s a temporary fixative spray, it will hold all those delicate parts down whilst your blending over the top and it wont move around. The stencil will just lift off when you’re done and won’t be sticky, gives a perfect result :)

I had no idea the king art where that expensive! I do think i like the color selection better then the silky crayons tho. That's just preference of course. These crayons and also gelatos all remind me of oil pastels. i think you might like the mungyo water soluble oil pastels. They come in a iridescent set and also a normal plain set. They are also very inexpensive. At least on Amazon usa they are only ten$. I think your just stuck mentally on backgrounds. Face your fear. Lol. I used to detest and dread doing backgrounds. Now it's one of my favorite parts. I love the tree stencils for drawing in trees Into the front and back of my pictures..also cloud stencils are very useful too. Loved your haul and can't wait to see the swatches of paint and gel crayons! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Emma, just wanted to let you know that I had to contact the Black Widow seller because when I received my cobra set I had a few pencils that the core was broken all the way down,so anyways his name s Albert and he is super nice and you can contact him anytime to get some open stock....it does take a while to get to you because he is from Australia, took about 4 weeks to get to me in Canada. Just thought I'd let you know and thanks again for another great haul !!!!

I love your haul. A little late but I finally bought the Reptiloids book. I love it. Having a challenge finding the right pencils for it though. I don't remember which sets you used in this book.
