Buddhism is not just a philosophy .It is the reality of life. Buddhism describes the rebirth of man according to "Karma" and the consequences of his actions. According to the Buddha's philosophy, those who have shaped their lives well will get good results in this world as well as in the hereafter. I see the birth of a Buddhist family as my greatest blessing. From Sri Lanka.🇱🇰🇱🇰☸️

Also, it may be something your mind body complex resonates with, the energy this chant generates, from previous births. It talks about cause and effect of conditions and the existential suffering inherent in attachment to mental contents, dhammas, and how the release from this suffering can be found by practice and understanding the cause and effect t realms generate in the heart.

This chant is a classification of elements. It is the process of splitting the atomic system.
It is a six-way separation process of atomic systems are eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind.and all 6 methods of separating the atomic process also called sensory In the senses there is movement and disappears every moment. It is called the moment when the mind arises and disappears (in the sensory system) Practicing Vipassana will reveal the emptiness of the elemental system from the elemental presence as well and freed from the elemental Out of the hypothetical, even though alive in the senses in the elemental process also know wise in illusion without adherence

So good to be able to listen to this online on Vesak Day here in New Orleans where there’s no Theravada Buddhist temple. I was in Sri Lanka from 2000-2010, as an English teacher and a volunteer for Sarvodaya, and I was fortunate to be able to learn about Buddhism there; to visit most of the important temples around the island; and participate in many ceremonies and festivals. The teachings are badly needed now in the U.S., with all the anger and mental health issues and social problems, as well as all the problems with alcohol, drugs, and other intoxicants.

Remember 2 things Budha ji taught. 1. Dukha and 2. Nibhana. Dukha is caused by sufferings that causes sadness. Accept sadness in wholesome way. 2. Nibhana is ultimate happiness. Enjoy it. Don't get caught up with Dukha in negative way. Always forgive yourself and others. In essence you want to live wholesome life. Teaching of Teacher Buddha.

This chants is to give knowledge about the classification of elements.

The Paticcasamuppada part is at 8:33 and goes like this:
      Paṭiccasamuppāda
      Anuloma :
      In order of Arising
      avijjā-paccayā saṅkhārā, saṅkhāra-paccayā viññāṇaṃ,
Conditioned by ignorance, intentional activities arise.
Conditioned by intentional activities, consciousness arises.
      viññāṇa-paccayā nāma-rūpaṃ, nāmarūpa-paccayā saḷāyatanaṃ,
Conditioned by consciousness, mind and matter arise.
Conditioned by mind and matter, the six-fold sense base arises.
      saḷāyatana-paccayā phasso, phassa-paccayā vedanā,
Conditioned by the six-fold sense base, contact arises.
      Conditioned by contact, feeling arises.
      vedanā-paccayā taṇhā, taṇhā-paccayā upādānaṃ,
Conditioned by feeling, unwholesome desire arises.
Conditioned by unwholesome desire, grasping arises.
upādāna-paccayā bhavo, bhava-paccayā jāti,Conditioned by grasping, becoming arises. Conditioned by becoming, birth arises.
      jāti-paccayā jarā-maraṇaṃ,
      soka-parideva-dukkha-domanass-upāyāsā sambhavanti.
Conditioned by birth, arise - ageing, death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and
      despair.
Evam etassa kevalassa dukkha-kkhandhassa samudayo hoti.
Thus does this entire aggregation of suffering and dissatisfaction arise.
      Patiloma :
      In order of Ceasing
avijjāya tveva asesa virāga nirodhā saṃkhāra nirodho,
With the entire cessation of this ignorance, intentional activities cease.
      saṃkhāra nirodhā, viññāna ṇirodho,
With the cessation of intentional activities, consciousness ceases.
      viññāna nirodhā, nāmarūpa nirodho,
With the cessation of consciousness, mind and matter cease.
      nāmarūpa nirodhā, saḷāyatana nirodho,
With the cessation of mind and matter, the six-fold sense base ceases.
      saḷāyatana nirodhā, phassa nirodho,
with the cessation of the six-fold sense base, contact ceases.
      phassa nirodhā, vedanā nirodho,
With the cessation of contact, feeling ceases.
      vedanā nirodhā, taṇhā nirodho,
With the cessation of feeling, unwholesome desire ceases.
      taṇhā nirodhā, upādāna nirodho,
With the cessation of unwholesome desire, grasping ceases.
      upādāna nirodhā, bhava nirodho,
With the cessation of grasping, becoming ceases.
      bhava nirodhā, jāti nirodho,
With the cessation of becoming, birth ceases.
jāti nirodhā jarā, maraṇaṃ, soka, parideva, dukkha
      domanass-upāyāsā nirujjhanti.
      With the cessation of birth,
ageing, death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair cease.
evam etassa kevalassa dukkha-kkhandhassa nirodho hotiThus does the cessation of this entire aggregation of suffering and dissatisfaction
      result.
After that Metta Sutta. Insight into how to live a good life.
