    Correction since the LMTD is in Celcius you must convert it into absolute temperature before you multiply it. Am I wrong?

      Actually you could use either as these are differences in temperatures, rather than actual temperatures. If we convert all temperatures to Kelvin first then the differences between those temperatures will still be the same.
