Spurs have already too many young project players to develop. Spurs are going tall ball/positionless. Spurs do everything slow, steady, step by step, and long term. Future first round picks are one of the most valuable assets in the league (for trade), even more so when you are historically a top 3 franchise in the league at draft and developpement. 1 pick swap and unorotected 1st round in 6 and 7 years when they are good and the Wolves will likely be out of their contending window, is a good bet. Wolves are historically poorly managed, one of the worst in the league, they’re cheap, don’t like luxury tax, have aging superstars (but Ant who could go anywhere by then), have no first pick and no cap space: best recipe for implosion long term (even though I like their team and wish them success right now). These picks are JUICY. And could likely be traded for a star in 2-4 years anyway. TLDR: The Spurs follow the same strategy as OKC, young team, with young superstar, and still stacked with assets for the future, even when they’ll be contending, they will be able to jeep adding young talent for pennies on the dollar when Wemby is in his prime and they’re contending.

They got the rookie of the year (Alex Sarr) the steal of the draft (Kyshawn George) and the 3rd guy they got can be a good starter as well ( Bub Carrington). They are the only team that drafted 3 legit future above average starters. Sarr is a beastly shot blocker and rebounder who can be an all-star level player and elite defensive player. George is raw but arguably is the steal of the draft because of his lethal three point stroke and ability to create off the dribble. Carrington is small and his jumpshot is suspect but he has a great feel for scoring, is quick, and is a very nifty slasher. I think the Hawks, Lakers, Spurs, Bulls, and Knicks are the biggest winners other than Washington. Risacher isnt getting much hype post draft but i still think he has the most upside out of anyone in the draft. He is one of the few players if not only player who is above 6 9" with elite guard skills who can also shoot it from three. The Lakers got Bronny for literally nothing. The league was a disgrace to let him fall in the Lakers' lap so easily. I truly believe Bronny still has a good chance to turn into a star over time and prove all the doubters wrong. Knecht is a high floor yet low ceiling player but he gives the Lakers an NBA ready rookie which they desperately needed. Stephon Castle has the potential to be the best player in this draft and he is an elite scorer. The Bulls got a very raw player in Buzelis, but one who arguably has the highest upside in this entire draft and he's only 19. He's 6 10' with Giannis' athleticism and guard skills and is imposing when attacking the rim. The Knicks got 2 great players for the future. Dadiet can become a good 2-way player who brings elite defense and a smooth silky jumpshot. Tyler Kolek is an amazing passer and is a good shooter and one who thrives in the pick and roll. He's Stockton-esque.
