  • The Korg Wavedrum Mini is a triumph - fun to use and really useful in songs and recordings. The sounds range from solid acoustic-style bashes to trippy synth reverberations. It also has onboard rhythms and the option of adding a second sound activator eg. for bass drum.

    it was very helpful. I always hit up TH-cam for information on any instrument I'm looking to purchase

    I like that you can record a loop with one preset, assign another preset to the piezo clip, then play another preset on the pad.

    Was looking at this..looks really fun and useful... I know it's not Pro gear but could be really handy for someone on a budget.
    However why oh god why do companies always do this... Start off with a good idea then screw it up by using stupid sounds that no one would ever use... cats and dogs and stupid sounding scratch noises that are generally terrible. I've already been put off as I wish they had replaced some of the stupid sounds with a few more drum KIT sounds. There's tons on it but surprisingly there are very few drum KITs on it. Aaargh...always the same with hardware devices... theres always something missing that is really wanted by potential buyers, or it usually includes something so obviously crap you wonder about who chooses these sounds and makes the final decision.AAaaargh... these are the kinds of things that make a lot of people stop short of buying some great devices...an sd slot to save your loops wouldn't have added much to the cost either. Jeez !

    A lot of useless sounds. Why not some world beat sounds. Tabla, etc. lots of junky worthless sounds.

    Buen aparato para percusiones...pero hay que hacerlo mas profesional...mas sonidos,cuantizacion,Midi,salvamentos y memorias...etc..bien animo con todas las cosas y vayamos todos con alegrías...

    130 NZD for a second-hand one with a 3-month warranty. Do you think that's a good deal please Glynn? Sounds like it would be awesome to add to my looping setup. Well some of the prices on American Ebay seemed to say it's a good deal. Does it have a favourites preset please? Totally instant gratification, my favourite :)

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah yeah I think it's a better-than-average deal. I don't remember if it had favorites, but I liked that all the sound was in one place, one proximity. It's all about the position of impact and the force you use, making it really really musical. Instant grats to you my friend ;)

    If I'm going to buy 1. It doesn't have the trigger so I'm just going to buy one of those cheap, boss plug-in guitar tuner. Since it is basically, just a Drum trigger with a piezo pick-up in it. But I made an electronic drum kit 1-day. When the discs weren't widely available. So I went to $2 shops. And bought those cheap window alarms which work with magnets. And just took the piezo disc, worked fine. I had one of those brackets which you put on the wall to hold up bikes or canoes. I used it for use it for my kick drum. And actually made it out of a table tennis bat. Lol. I'm currently making drum triggers out of used hairdresser training Heads. Hopefully do a good job because I want to sell it. I think someone will enjoy it. I've just realised I can probably use the kick drum I made. Lol.

      @@gearfacts thank you very much for your advice. Yes I think some quirky person would really enjoy it. I just have to get the input on my old Roland drum machine going, hopefully. I forget what it's called but apparently it was used on a on lot's of albums in the 90s . Yes I'll definitely upload it when it's done. First video. I will let you know when I've made it. Get my drum brain serviced. Do you happen to know if you hardwire cable into the socket if it's the only option. Also want to make some for myself because I've got plenty of spare, heads. Lol. Do you know if I can put an an inline fuse on the cable? Most of them are sitting on top of my soundproof booth. Because I wanted to call my studio Headcase Studios lol. Oh, do you use Facebook at all? I actually sleep in my lounge room. And my bedrooms my music room. Lol full stop except for my synthesizers which are at the end of my bed in a corner. Lol

      @@New_Zealand_Music ahh that’s the life! I think you’re I can do all those things with your kit as long as you are careful. I’ve got three electronic kits here too - all with their own faults, hoping to make one functional kit out of them.
