I commented on longevity of a £495 fragrance that I spent my hard earned money on and they deleted my comment and then blocked me. What kind of rogue company is this where you can't say anything unless it's positive about their brand. It's ridiculous. Thank you for keep it 100%. I rate this reviewer so much.

I owned both New York Intense and Jubi 25, I’d say the old cream capped Jubi25 > New York Intense but vs the gold magnetic Jubis with its name printed on the bottle, New York Intense is far superior (and cheaper too!) and therefore the one to go for that type of scent. My fav of FdB is Baie Rose. Discontinued but you could still get them from Jovoy I think.. its fresh, talcumy, soapy, clean and last over 6hrs on me.

My favourite house, I own 8 of theirs. But 100% agree there are also some I don't. Mine are. Orange, Vert, Rouge, Bleu, Cannabis Blue, Violet, Sahara and London.

Thanks for the honest review. I have 8 FDB and my wife has one (Siberian Rose). Siberian Rose is one of the best tuberose scents out there (better than Carnal Flower IMHO), but it is feminine leaning, as you say. Can't get enough of it (on her!). I love Oud Vert, Oud Bleu, Oud Noir, Oud Orange, and Santal Complet as well as Solstis and Secret Tryst. But i REALLY love Milano as well: Erba Pura and elegant suede. I did not like Parisian as much - I appreciate the quality but too mature and squeaky clean for me. Did not like Amber Intense, but did like Heritage, although Xerjoff Pikovaya Dama is better in this clean linen genre.
Been testing a handful of randomly selected samples from a shop in Hollywood. I landed on New York intense. As you said it is something you want to smell over and over again . Enjoying the base as I type. But think I need to get Parisian to test. Milano was in what I selected and you are spot on about it. Some will like it but it’s mercurial.

Not as “intense” now.The company denies they changed anything but they all deny it. It it would interesting to hear what you think of Krigler Perfume. They are very expensive and I don’t know if they give out samples. They recently increased their already outragious prices due to inflation I guess. Excellent fragrances but not sure they are worth the price.
If FdB actually keeps communications up after the bad reviews and doesn’t ghost you, that says something. I’ll say Sahraa was amazing when I tried it and might be worth $250-300. Not $900.
@@extragentsscents I actually own that one. Got it really cheap and it’s a really nice spicy/fresh scent with decent longevity. Maybe about 50% overpriced at retail. My least favorite of those was Bleu Intense. Smells like laundry detergent.

FdB for me at the moment is def over priced for what they offer. I have an Oud Bleu Intense decant which apparently is totally amazing. But, to me, it just came off very soapy and just meh to be honest. For my nose I've smelt much better that cost much much less.

I’d recommend spending some time with these fragrances, especially Amber Intense, Parisian, or Sahraa (not in the sample set). I honestly think these take some time to understand. They aren’t mass-appealing - nor are they meant to be - but some of them are complex and fantastic scents.
I've tried 2 of their discovery sets. They all smell high class but at the same time smell similar to fragrances that already exist. Polished clones IMO. Way over-priced too. I do however like Sahraa the most, but it costs at least double what I think it's worth.
FDB make some nice scents, but definitely not worth the price. Prices are high - x2 creed, 6x Mancera - and cant justify cost of production or retain a history
Hi Ash. You're are a great reviewer but you didn't it right this time. FDB's perfumes cannot be reviewed in this rush way. You need to review them properly and wait until they dry down. You didn't do them justice dear!
But whys so poor taste in presentation. They look like $1.99 frags with theese logo and fonts, fake gold and stones, it's like they inteded to appeal for someone with no taste. You can tell just from photos that the quality of the glass is on the lowest level.

I knew the first time I smelled Encre Noire that I would never wear it. I can appreciate what it's doing, but it's not for me.
I would definitely try Encre Noire sport. It’s a little bit lighter then Encre Noire.

I own Oud Bleu, Oud Vert, Oud Noir, and Heritage. The first three need to be tested on skin. Probably my favorite house. Stunners.

I love London Spice and Secret Tryst. Liked Cavort and Minuit et demi. They're a little overpriced in my opinion but definitely a solid house.
