Finally the video I’ve been waiting for! It’s nice to see that the Doyle’s weren’t junk. I’ve had good luck with mine but I still love my Channellocks and Knipex.
I couldn’t afford channelocks so I bought Doyle and holy crab they have been amazing way cheaper and they hold up good I liked them so much and went off and bought there screw drivers and haven’t been disappointed and my tools get beat at work 🤙🏻
Purchased the Klein tongue and groove pliers set at a local Electrical Supply store, I laid them side by side with my Channellock tongue and groove pliers, and they were identical in every way except the Kleins have yellow handles and Channellocks have light blue handles. I am utterly convinced that Klein is rebranding the Channellock tongue and groove pliers.
Doyle is induction hardened wich is an expensive and complicated process that alone tells me it's quility, cheap tools use basic and inexpensive flame hardening process which isn't that great, channellock uses laser heat treat so Doyle and channellock are neck and neck unless one company just uses better steel
Harbor freight copy's every other companies tools and than says how bad other tool manufacturers are and I'm for one sick of them insulting my intelligence buy nothing from them anymore
I've never seen Harbor Freight say anything is bad. They just use the phrase, compare to. If all of my tools cost twice as much then I can only afford half as many of them. But yeah some stuff at Harbor Freight is crap. Some of their hand tools are OK though.
@@1pcfred well at least you admit that that some of Harbor freight is garbage I think most is so let's just leave it at that but back to the topic the price of a pair of Doyle pliers is not that cheaper than a pair of channel locks which they copy cuz I think you're better off with The Real McCoy for the difference in price I own several pairs of channel lock pliers I'll leave the several pairs of knipex snap on kline out of there just channel lock
@@larryborkstrom3580 I consider things that cost twice as much to be considerably more expensive. There is no guarantee the Channellock brand pliers are any better either. I have pump pliers made by many different brands. They all seem about the same to me. That includes the 5 pair of Channellock pump pliers I own. If you're buying Snap-On pliers then you're a total idiot too. I don't know about K-mart's pliers. Or did you mean the electrician's Klein Tools? They're only known for their linesman's pliers.
@@1pcfred well I consider cost too cheap I don't trust them and what's good with a warranty if you know you going to b using it all the time now I be honest with you I hate people like Eric Schmidt a anti America goblist
@@larryborkstrom3580 Channellock warranty is almost non-existent. They only cover defects in materials and workmanship for a limited time. They explicitly do not cover wear or what they deem as "abuse". Harbor Freight on the other hand has a no questions asked return policy. People have literally exchanged tools they've broken on purpose. Then they went on to tell the representative at Harbor Freight what they did. No one cared. It's like here's your new tool.
Doyle is nice stuff for the price but as long as there are affordable USA made tools I will choose to support my fellow Americans as much as I can.
USA 🇺🇸

I wouldn't doubt it ik mac and Matco rebrand them as well

These are incredible clones and held up just as good in my opinion
@@toolsandtrash6911 I agree I actually own both! My coworkers have channellock too so I got Doyle so we wouldn't get them mixed up.
@@Lee-lb9qh yeah I bet you put some blue handles on the Doyle's and almost no one could tell the difference besides the logo
@@toolsandtrash6911 ya that's literally the only difference is the color of the handles
It does do a good job preventing rust, while it lasts at least.
I'm thinking it would also I'll make an update video soon to see how they do I'll leave them outside for a couple months
Great video man! Thanks for the info and the laughs. That’s weird with the sticker on the Doyle
Block you Chanel F bombs 💣 unnecessary.
