The one thing I found which was missing is the depth of the character ,the characters like Father Karras were missing. But overall just go give it a watch ☺️

Because the demon manipulate them because Katherine's Dad was totally broken from inside In that scene which that devil wants and devil had already said that he/she will let one live and other dead but it doesn't tell the specific one and when Katherine's dad said I choose Katherine the devil plays it trick-Point 1 Or, Maybe Angela and Regan had same powers that they survived in every case. The theories can be different
