I don't even know if that will help but I assume it will make it easier to render as if they were proxies or something. But for now this is much better thank you!
After some tests and saw alot of online videos what is actually work for me is set the resolution of the preview to automatic, i had this problem when i'm using the rotoscopic brush stuck every time. I got this issue with ae2024 with 2023 i had 0 problems, i just updated for the rotoscopic brush 3.0 but yeah it seems crap i will consider to rollback.
Install more ram into your computer. You can buy ram just like any other computer part. If you're on a laptop it's a bit more tricky to install but you can do it. If you're on a desktop it's a piece of cake. Just make sure you have all the same brand and size of ram so they play nice with eachother. Also, if you don't fill all the available ram slots, you have to put the RAM into the computer in the correct orientation. Your motherboard will have a manual that shows how to do this though no problem. If you have trouble, just google "how to install RAM into my computer" and there are many great and easy to follow tutorials out there. You got this!
I didn't know this problem also affected Mac users. In Windows the problem is much worse

Same! I have a MacBook Pro M1 with 8gb of ram and it CANNOT preview anything even at quarter. Did you find a fix for this?
@@mikelvillas your issue is the 8gb of ram lol. I know this probably isnt the answer you wanted to hear but maybe consider upgrading to a PC.
