Liked these two from the start. They have chemistry and now have beautiful children.
They are my favorite couple too. I hope having them in front of the camera and posting their relationship does not ruin it for them. I want them to stay together forever. They gave people hope that anyone can fine love in the Bachelor. I enjoy watching successful relationships in the Bachelor and that it isn’t just for instant fame or a hook up.

For all the the people that are saying "but Arie and Lauren are still together!" Lauren wasn't his final pick on the show, and they literally just got married in the middle of January. I don't think "still married" even counts for them yet. It hasn't even been a month
No the point is they are from the series and they are still together and have a baby, also there are several other bachelor couples from several other seasons that are still together and married and have been for years!!! ASHLEY and JP, Tristia and Ryan who have kids that are like 12/13 years old now, several and a little more than a few more couples I can't think of now are still together!
Arie went on the Bachelor looking for love, and yes he made some bad moves, he didn’t understand what he was feeling at the time and how can you blame him, in this show one minute you’re having the best time with a person making connections the next minute you send them home, that happens on every rose ceremony. Who would blame him for choosing Becca unknowingly? Arie fought for Lauren, he knew that the world would be against him for making that move but he still did it, because if he didn’t go back to Lauren and stay with Becca the show would’ve been for nothing if he’s not in love with Becca and in love with someone else! He knew that going back to Lauren would be the right thing for the 3 of them and Becca had her happy ending too by being the bachelorate, You know like the whole season Arie kept dumping girls after having the best dates with them nobody said anything because thats how the “rules” were but once he proposed to Becca and realized his mistake everyone is blaming him when its not that different from what he kept doing while the show was running....
After proposing to a contestant, it’s like they have to “stay” together not have any second thoughts, this is real life not a fictional show it’s Arie’s actual life on stake

Desiree, Trista, Ashley (and JP), are all BachelorETTES. Melissa and Arie's wife were not the chosen woman in the end of the Bachelor, and so they don't count. Literally, Sean is the one BACHELOR who chose the "winner", and is still married to her. It's pretty crazy, and is also why people say that the Bachelorette is far more successful.

To all Sean and Catherine fans: Catherine is half Filipino and grew up with her mother when her parents divorced. Generally, Filipino women are not showy with their affection. We are only taught to be a responsible and good wife and mother. No kissy, kissy. We are taught that family is very important to be united and not broken. Of course, you are only half of the equation. Just do your job as a wife and mother. If the other half did not do his job, then, there is nothing you cannot do about. Her mother was divorced and raised 3 daughters by herself. They all had college degrees. So she did a good job of raising them. So do not expect Catherine to be lovey-dovey to Sean. She will do her job as a wife and mother without lovey-dovey. Of course, for every rule, there is an exception. Not all Filipinas are like that. Especially nowadays, they are beginning to be selfish.

@@Emma-zk2rf You do not have to. But I grew up with this kind of examples. 3 of us lived in the USA. Both of my two sisters are divorced. In my opinion, there are 2 people in that marriage and they did their job as a wife. You cannot control the other half if there was another woman. That is not my sister's fault. As a mother, they did their job too. My sisters raised my nephews as a single parent and their sons were honor students and had college degrees. One had a 4-year scholarship in college. Never gave my sisters any trouble. Both have good jobs as professionals and responsible human beings. Children grew up by examples. Our parents sent us all to college so we will have decent jobs, so my sisters did the same thing to my nephews. We are all independent and we did not need a man to support us. We were able to buy a car and house all by ourselves. This is not dumb, this is generally how Filipino family or Asian family are raised. Family comes first and be a responsible person and not a nuisance to society.

Gail Pochop Two of the couples you mentioned are from Bachelorette and the other (Jason and Molly) technically got back together after Jason chose another winner on the show so they weren’t the original couple who won that season.

I adore Arie. If you care to watch him and Lauren and baby Alessi together on their yt channel you'll see what a great husband and dad he is. He made a mistake on the Bachelor, but Becca is happy now as well, so all's well that ends well.

Ryan and Trista were on the Bachelorette not the bachelor. Jason married Molly (his runner-up) not Melissa his "winner" same with Arie, he picked Becca and changed his mind to Lauren after they finished filming so it doesn't count. Sean and Catherine are the only 'bachelor' couple that even got married. But there are several from the bachelorette.
I didn't have a problem with Arie going back to Lauren. It was annoying that he wouldn't leave when she wanted him too.

Okay, here it is. The people that are still together from the Bachelorette are: Ashley and JP, Jojo and Jordan, Desiree and Chris, Rachel and Bryan, Becca and Garrett, and Trista and Ryan. (That's 6 couples that are still together with the person they chose.)
People that are still together from the Bachelor: Sean and Catherine, Colton and Cassie... (That's two couples that are still together with the person they chose.) However, you could make a case for: Jason Mesnick and Molly, and Arie and Lauren, who both went back and eventually chose their "second to last person",
But anyway, why do you guys think that is? Do you think the women who become the bachelorettes somehow have better intuition? Or maybe they go with their gut in a way the guys may not? As a person who watches both shows, it's feels like you can almost tell when a relationship jIS NOT going to work out but they're going with it anyways and it is getting to the final episodes. For example, I felt this way about Nick and Vanessa, Chris Soules and Whitney, and think make quick decisions better? I feel like a lot of the bachelors COULD have stayed together with someone from the show if their choice had been different, but obviously that's life and they made a decision in the end and I applaud them for it, and rhey have to deal with it. Like for example, Chris Soules and Becca Tilley I think could have really been a power couple that would still be together today, and unfortunately I don't think there was anyone on Nick season who I could really see him with long-term, but him and Andi Dorfman really had something.

Somehow Catherine gave me a negative vibe, am sure she's a very devoted wife and mother, but she seemed over strong, didn't really give sean any chances to talk, also the whole interview she didn't really gave him any looks of love, he did a bit, she also appeared inpatient and a bit angry when he talked, Sean's body language tells me he's leaning towards her and had his arm around to protect her. Am sure she's a very good person. But sometimes in life you need something else as well. Am sure at a time he may regret. But in the end they can fight to solve their problems, but somehow a marriage has to be fought all the time, it's just not meant to be. Personalities have to have to have to match, it's really important.

They've been married a long time and have two young kids. Dynamic changes. I love and am happy with my husband but we aren't always staring lovingly into each other's eyes. Far from it.

Sou amy Catherine is half-Filipino. She grew with her Filipina mother who raised 3 daughters when their parents divorced. Her mom is a teacher. They all had college degrees, so she did a good job raising them. Generally, Filipino women are taught by their parents to be responsible wife and mother without kissy-kissy. We are not showy with our affection. We are taught by examples that your first priority is your husband and children, not you. Do your best that your family is united, not broken. Teach your children to be responsible and be sure they get educated so they will not be a burden to society. Be a good wife and mother without the lovey-dovey. They are NOT the only bachelor couple who is still together. Jason Mesnick and Molly are still together, and Arie and Lauren are still together, as are lots of Bachelorette couples and BIP couples.
