The part i enjoy the most is how chowder operates the machine as its treated as some kind of kind weapon in a game and honestly it just really impresses me
Uhh…did anybody remember the part where the girl tried to call her mother and tell her that Constance tried to eat her only for her mom to not believe her. Also, they tried to call the police about Constance and look how that turned out. Even Z the baby sitter didn’t believe them. Also, Constance was very good a deceiving people.
Knowing the back story, despite how absurd and goofy the entire premise is, it's a little hearbreaking to see Mr Nebbercracker throw a brick at Constance. It's a good callback to the scene where the kids hit her with eggs, and instead of him defending her, he is defending the kids. A really good scene in a really silly movie.
When i was super young i felt scared to sleep since i didn't know what sudden lights coming from cracks at my curtain at night were and when i watched this movie i thought the lights were street lamps and that my apartment was moving around the town and i would suddenly be eaten by my own home

You know there is one thing that I don’t understand! “ With all the screaming, smashing, roaring, and explosive happening about, how come there’s no one around to see a house chasing those kids?
This is a very sad story because this house by itself is haunted by a fat woman who died in the construction. She hated childrens because they were the ones who mocks at her because of her physical apperance and the old man was the only one who was nice to her. After the accident, the whole house becomes her body and his husband keep her safe from unrespectful kids and teenagers. But at the time passed, she becomes more and more possesive of her husband and more aggressive, at a point that she is stealing his life. The old man yells at kids to stay away, but he is doing this more to protect them from his wife's anger than protecting her (and probably because she grew to have murder tendencies like what happened to the Z's boyfriend and a dog). That is the problem with people who got mistreated and mocked their whole life. If there is someone who has compassion for them, they will do anything to keep it with them so they can't suffer anymore, even if it means killing and keep this someone close to them and never let go,ruinning his/her life.
I can only imagine the look on everyone's faces the next day, seeing that a house vanished overnight leaving nothing behind but a huge smoldering hole, and multiple streets completely destroyed, especially seeing that the path of destruction goes right from the old man's house to the construction site a couple blocks away.
This movie has a great backstory but How does people not know the giant house moving in the streets and when dj and chowder also Jenny exploded the house there were acting like it was Nothing?
Everytime i watch this it makes me wonder how is constance able to do that with the house?? I mean when ghosts try to move objects it takes a lot of energy..so does constance have a lot of energy to make the house alive??
Well she probably got all the energy from the cities electricity or from the toys Mr. Nebblecracker threw in the basement . Ghost can drain energy from electrical equipment or other humans to do basic thing such as move objects around. (According to ghost hunters and paranormal experts) if you ever watch a paranormal investigation video, they always bring up how they have to bring extra batteries for their cameras due to ghost draining them. And for humans, you’ll know if a ghost is draining your energy when you go to a haunted location and you suddenly start to feel dizzy or sick.
How were there no neighbors or bystanders who stepped out of their houses and were like “yo wtf??” Like it’s a mf sentient predatory house ripping through the neighborhood?
If I had a nickle for every movie I saw where an old man has an unhealthy attachment to a house, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but strange how it happened twice
Plus, you can add the facts that there's a dead wife involved, a young child/young children who help them in the end, and the house being lifted off its foundation.
