When you're half-way through the film, on a Friday afternoon after a hard week of work, and realize you've seen it already, but you keep watching it anyway, in silence and awe. Wow.
Every frame is a treasure. Whatever the 'Nordic' language, it was perfect for this drama. I'm not too keen to watch a full length subtitled feature, but this would be an exception. So much talent.
WOW!! This is worth the price of admission!! Geez laweez, I've never seen a student film turn out soo good like this. With such depth of detail work, sfx, music, storyline, acting!! it all was a pleasure to experience. I literally watched it and then ran to my friend and we watched it together. Can't wait for part 2 0_o
Thanks to all of you for the overwhelming comments. I am out of words and always get emotional when I read what you guys have written. Once in a while I come back to this video and can't believe we actually did that film. I must have been crazy or sth. to actually pull this off. And even more crazy were the crew and the people who actually beared with me and made my vision possible. We all went through a production hell back then but when I look back now, it was a magical time and I feel lucky that I was allowed to make this crazy flick. Just like you guys, I wish there was a second part or a full blown movie about Jagon but as my favorite character of all time said: life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Indeed this film deserves a second part. But as I read your text it must have been a lot of work. I don't know much about film making, I love to enjoy films. But I do appreciate the tons of work that go into making a film. So, thank you for your work. I thoroughly enjoyed your film.

With every redpect; If our old hunter and our Saracen young girl, through few years in the near future, with starting point the end of this film, after few contacts with evil and death, (at the past in this time line) find the peace, him as a father and mentor of her and she like a married woman with husband and 3 children, one young hunter /husband approved from our hunter/father, in a protected beautiful farm, and there, the two of them teach the husband and the 3 children about the mystical power of faith, telling us, eventually, their path to meet the Angel of the rosary and enlightenment against the cult of aurelians and the fall from their original grace via vanity, corruption and greed, turn them to soldiers of evil and hubris. One second part of this magnificent work, 35 minutes for example, more mystical, magical and deepness, a great climax, victorious, in a great journey. 🙏❤️
I literally am called to re-watch this film every 6-12 months or so. Today was such a day. Lo and behold, only 2wks ago an update where posted the Creator (film producers...) to almost answer the question that I've asked EVERY time I've watched this: Where is the REST of this story? That said, a powerful seed was planted in this more than artistic cinematic encapsulation. So, again, BLESS and THANK you!
First of all, they were not pressured to get the investment back, then this is only a short movie. They can focus all their effort into shorter period of time.

This was waaaaaaaayy too short. This needed to be a full length movie or a series. A beautiful girl with the power of the ancients; a gatherer with a back story longer than Gandalf's beard, and a swordsman waiting in the distance. A story of legendary proportions with awesome cinematography and directory, and you're cutting it off now...why? I want more!!!

Jiminy crickets......came across this by accident, read a few comments....I'm only 10 minutes in and I'm like "OMG....WHY hasn't this been made into a major full length movie!?!" More than that, I sure hope the big studios have snapped up every one of you that worked on this and are giving you the license and freedom to create more superb films. The acting is superb....every close up, every scene....how it was directed, shot, edited is absolutely spectacular! Hope all of you go far, because this deserves some kind of award!

This was filmed 5 years ago?!!? I just stumbled on it while looking at short films!! I must say that of the many short films I have seen, as well as, big budget Motion Pictures.........Hollywood would salivate over this one!! Well acted, scripted, perfect plot lines and the special effects were amazing!! The orange princess and the hunter acted their parts magnificently. Actually, all of them were awesome!! Should this become a full length Movie, I'd pay to see it! Well done folks......and thanks for the translations! LOL!!
Excellent. I liked the attention to detail, especially at 8:17 when the antagonist notices the callous between the hunter's thumb and index finger, which only someone trained in arms might have. Actually, farmers and blacksmiths would have the same callous, but still, it was a good visual effect. The seemingly vulnerable young girl's revenge was also more than a little gratifying and very well done.
Outstanding work by this team. Just now watching it in 2023 and it holds up very well against other great works. The fact that this was done as a student production is very impressive. I especially love the mood that the color choice of your shots in the woods delivered. I'd love to see more of this story or world in another production. Maybe one day we will get it! Be proud of the masterpiece you have created.

The phrase “leave them wanting more” is so painfully accurate for this short film. Great job, it should be turned into a feature film and it could be fit into ANY genre.
Please make this a full feature film, Please do!. The effects alone makes it worth the 20 min of my time, add the actors and scenery to it, than even the big studio’s can learn from this. Gold and masterpiece do not do this one justice, it’s way better than that.

What's really amazing is the look of this film is as cinematic as any 100 million plus block buster. The use of slow motion, the editing and lighting and the acting are all professional movie quality. Nice.
It started amazing from start.. became bigger at 15:31, got goosebumps at 16:09 and at 16:37 took me to another world.... Ohh man.. I wish for whole movie with these kind of things.. Lots of Love for your concept, presentation and the whole crew.. ♥♥♥♥
15/3/2023, watched this for the first time. Outstanding cinematography, script, effects, acting, and though I was reliant on the subtitles, the dialogue was superb. In some ways I find a subtitled film to have more engagement with the audience. The music captivated you as did the special effects and the scenery. I was saddened that it finished, I wanted so much more, the back story, the prequel, the sequel. Thank you all for your amazing work.

fantastic !....... great story, and production values.. better than anything out in the theatres currently..... only thing I noticed that was excessive was all the slow motion,... it worked beautifully in some scenes and was a little to much in others, great casting and quality actors...
This team needs independent funding so they can freely expand or their vision and grow into more. This way amazing. So much better than what the elite pumps out to the cinema. If this was a 3h film I'd watch it at least 5 times in the first 2 years of release uninterrupted. So much directing and writing talent. Amazing indeed

The look on the old hunter's face when he came to her aide, the look on her face when she returned the favor, was stirring. Although I guessed what was about to happen, it was awesome to watch.
This is even better the second time round. The production level was on par with some of the most popular films in the last few decades. Worth the watch.

Omg, I couldn't believe this was from 5 years ago. Everything in it was so perfect; the fight scene was epic with all the blood splatter, the acting was on point, the effect was fabulous..kudos to the whole team
I feel like I just watched the first ten minutes of what could become one of my favourite fantasy movies. Beautiful buildup, worldbuilding, and creating mystery. I was so ready for more at the end.
