I was thinking partway through that it seemed to work up very similar to Tunisian crochet, so I'm glad you mentioned that at the end! This feels kinda in the middle of traditional and Tunisian crochet to me.
This is interesting but I wouldn't be able to do stitch that high because I don't use a Bates or inline hook, my ergonomically handles on my hooks will not allow that many loops on my hook, but I could pull out my Tunisian hook and make it endless, lol. Loved this
True about ergonomic hooks making it a little tricky! lol Now you've got me wondering just how giant of a stitch I could make with my longest tunisian hooks... 🤔😂
It's just another approach to working on a project! I'd mentioned it in a previous video and got feedback that people wanted to see more about it. So I thought I'd share for anyone who wanted to try it out 🙂

It really does seem to fall in the middle!
Looks very interesting! Pretty fast too. Thanks for the video.
It's been such a fun method to play around with. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful Stitch, lovely 🥰
Thank you! It's such an interesting one to play around with.
It looks like fun to try. A new twist on a old type stitch. Thank you for recording this stitch.
You're very welcome! It's so fun pushing the limits of crochet. I bet you'll have a blast playing around with it!

I'm sorry, but what is the point?
