Personally, not gonna comment on your lips brother . I guess they're ok , but let's talk Guajira. I think Riohacha , which is not too nice at the moment , has huge potential to be the jumping off point for all the eco-tourism this state has to offer . In terms of city beaches , Riohacha has far and away the nicest in all of Colombia's Caribbean coast . Agreed that it's not the safest town but you and I know that tourism is the way to improve this. I'd really love to see you make a Riohacha specific video. I'd be happy to join you for that.

    Dear Frank,
I have been watching Your videos for several months and they have become increasingly professional. Thank You very much for informing about what is going on in Colombia.
I´m Austrian and have been interested in Colombia since the 1990´s, when I was a pupil.
Unfortunately, the situation in Colombia was that bad then due to the ongoing war that
travelling to Colombia was regarded as playing Russian Roulette.
But decades have passed by and the country has improved drastically - but not everywhere. As You have mentioned in previous videos, Chocò and Guajira belong to the poorest and least developed parts of Colombia. I understand that You might have business interests in this impoverished region, that You want to be among the first to invest there. But do You really think western tourists will have a good time there? They will associate Colombia with malnourished children, makeshift shacks, Venezuelan refugees and drug traffickers, when they leave the country. I´m just interested why You took this region into account.
Moreover, I want to thank You for Your videos about really interesting places like Cartagena, Medellin or the Tayrona national parc.
    With kind regards from Austria,
    Mathias

Thank you for your comment. A part of my company strategy is also helping regions to develop tourist offers and to bring labour and cash flow to the region. Together with Sara we regularly make therefore consulting to new providers.
But there is more, those regions are just stunning and the touristic potential is very big. In terms of client communication, I think it is all about expectation management. I usually have several one to one sessions with clients and I always explain them exactly how the region will be. So if clients decide traveling to a destination, they decide to also confront themselves with the real situation.
I hope that is the information you were looking for.
      Beste Grüsse aus Bogota
      Frank

Why make a desert green? The rest of Colombia is green already - just leave it as it is.

it is not the desert part but the south of La Guajira, where the coal mine is

The locals need to use native species and not invasive species for their renaturalization project. Extremely dangerous.
