Nice seeing you two together. It's a very interesting point you reveal about how you felt first time recording part of Capoeira, music, and a very interesting feeling that we get when recording. For me it's the same when recording and not feeling comfortable or feeling like something is wrong. I realised that when we separate the music from the game itself or the roda it's cut away one element. The teaching methods of Ferradura and many musicians really does help though and it's became apparent to me since training some Cuban practice methods that it's worth it. Nothing beats the spontaneity and true feeling of a roda and it's music.
