in student table city should be in INT that is cid and city both should have same length asa wll as same datatype.

1) Dekho ek table ki PRIMARY KEY point karti hai doosre table ki FOREIGN KEY KO, tabhi dono table join hote hai.
2) Dekho koi bhi value apne aap insert nahi hogi kisi table mein. Yha toh basically hum khud insert kar rahe hai leking jab MySQL ko kisi langauge ke sath use karenge jaise PHP toh wha se ek aisa system banayenge ki value khud insert ho jaye.

Sir altering the table is complicated since the data type of my city column in personal is Varchar and then making it a foreign key requires to change it's data type later it has messed up my table.
