Thanks you so much for this video! I'm going to be a girl scout camp counselor again this year and while I already have my CPR and firts aid training I needed a bit of a refresher. This looks exactly like the video they showed us and its exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!
Thank you for your sharing like this important information
This is great! Thanks for posting this video!
Thank you for this video. you never know when something like this can happen and now i know how to preform CPR!
This some bullshit I took an in person class for cpr and I still have to watch all these videos to graduate 🤣🤣great work schools
Clear presentation of good info!
Great information, and helpful to see.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I know it's not supposed to take the place of an actual red cross certification course, but for me, it's kind of like a movie trailer for the real thing
I really like it because it back up my knowledge and skills.
Thank you for uploading these ARC videos. I teach their curriculum in my health education course. I am also in the process of creating an online health course and having the links to these has been a tremendous time saver to creating my unit.
Thanks for the video I just pass my lifeguard redcross certification. This is a good refreshner

Nice film
very useful
This helped a lot thanks
what about the ribs breaking? ive heard that its going to happen when you do it correctly
Shayla ASMR you actually don’t break ribs all the time . It’s the cartilage in the sternum. Ribs do break but always continue CPR compressions.
I’m taking the first aid class too
good morning fellow nvib eight graders, we shall protest against this health thing that we are forced to do
If y park no gloves no nothing?!!
What if u don't have glove n mouth protector with u??? So, u can't do cpr to that person?
Kojtxiszoonyob Hlubkoj69 continue chest compressions until ems arrives or if u got someone to swap with you
@@Kalel93739 No! If you don't have a mouth protector and you don't know the person (therefore you dont know if they're sick or not), you just do the compressions non-stop, no mouth to mouth, because the person could have an infectious disease that can be transmitted through saliva. If you do the mouth to mouth, you could be putting yourself at risk.
I am a certified first aider by the ERC (European Resuscitation Council)
@@Kalel93739 A halfsender? Alright, I told you what the people from the European Resuscitation Council told us when I went to get certified. I am trying to help you and prevent you from doing something that could potentially put you at risk and your response is to mock me? Very mature!
And 2 per sec
It’s 120 a min
Can you teach how to res in fortnite
Thanks for the video but I think it's outdated because rescue breathes aren't anymore taught.
Orlando Machuca I'm currently taking a First Aid course and it's still being taught.
You may be thinking of compression only. Traditional CPR is still taught with ventilation.
I just took a Red Cross CPR class a month ago and I was taught rescue breaths there.
bro at the end is not pushin 🅿
i’m in drivers ed and it’s boring also someone is looking through the comment
You’re not supposed to use mouth to mouth anymore
For clarification, Breaths are still taught in certification courses. Breaths can help improve neurological outcome. CPR chest compressions only classes are taught as a general skill for non-certified courses to increase the chances that someone will act in a cardiac emergency by doing compressions only, which is still a life saving skill. But breaths and compressions is still the best option.
I am a lifeguard and I like to review this every once in a while to refresh my skills! Thank you!
