Great install! Although, confused on one aspect. Why did you have to cut the stock exhaust when you're going to change out the axleback anyway? The midpipe can connect right up with the remus exhaust and there wouldn't need to be any cutting of the factory pipes because it wouldn't be used anymore.
Please weigh the car when it’s complete with the light weight seats. This is going to be a true CSL car when complete as BMW took off 90kg stock CS with ceramics. They say 100kg+ off is CSL with the original ultra light being 180kg off standard. This build will be very close to a true CSL and with the added power will be a gem. I can’t wait to take her home in the giveaway!
Is it not possible on this model to plug in the valves, turn it on, put it in M mode to open the valves, then while running just disconnect the valves so they permanently stay open?
@@BEAR_S55 Oh I'm very aware lol, the valves were the first thing I disconnected when I got my 2 series but it never throws a code, been like that for about 3 years now.

Agreed with the “still gonna sound like garbage”. Honestly I have failed to see any aftermarket off the shelf exhaust improve the sound of this engine. And your right if I had the lift and everything he does I would be fabricating up a full custom exhaust and doing so much more also!
Added this and a Remus muffler to my M4, the sound is almost perfect

Do you have a solution for running an S65 in a different chassis (E36/8) with the stock DME?

The car is going with us to the Smoky Mountains and Matt wants to be able to drive it with the AA mid pipe.
The AA equal length comes with the underbrace with more clearance.

Because Matt wants to drive the car and isn't concerned with the stock exhaust being cut. When he gets the Remus rear section we will bolt it on.

To open the valves you just need to put the engine mode next to the shifter in Sport Plus and blip the throttle to open them up 👍🏾

i wouldn't wait. They're still months to a year from being in production phase.

I think it throws a code. I'm not 100% in that but he wants the valves working anyway.
Yea it is possible and there are videos on how to do what question you have just asked.
