Every time the portal opens, it is a little bittersweet because you know that many young men are "betting on themselves" and jumping into the portal without having a new team. We all know that D1 is brutal and your replacement is around the corner. Every player needs to identify their own "Coach Reed" expert before they leave home so that they have a knowledgeable person to advise them when things happen. It was so critical that CP was hired at this time to implement the right type of roster building in the age of the portal, and that he brought along his own media partners to give us that "inside" look and to keep his own receipts!
