The time has finally come, week 1 of the 2023-24 NFL season has finally arrived, and this week of NFL football was nuts, guys like Tyreek Hill went ballistic, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen struggled, and Aaron Rodgers may have played his last snap of football. So join me as we get into this NFL recap, and break down everything that happened during this insane week of football. I lost him. Barry McCockiner was just there a minute ago, but now all that stands in front of me is a shadow, urinatingtree made noises from afar but Tom Grossi was not my top priority. I wonder how the NFL week 1 review will look with Aaron Rodgers's injury. The Pat Mcafee show is going to be interesting with Bengal making an appearance, and I never thought I'd see the day where Tubfrog was on NFL highlights with the rest of undisputed.

🎉Brock Purdy is first quarterback in NFL history to win each of his first 6 reg season starts and throw at least 2 TDs passes in each start. Happy that Jimmy Garoppolo was very efficient.. going for 200 yards and 2 TDs! Good season start 🙌🏼. 😩Except for Aaron Rodgers injury.

Idk how Ridder could be inaccurate on most of his passes if he was 15/18 116 yards and 1 TD. That's not good granted, but he still had a better game than both Bryce Young and Joe Burrow so I don't know why people are acting as if he was the worst QB when he didn't even have the worst performance
As a cardinals fans. Im happy with how week one went. Granted it was the Commanders but the defense didnt look like absolute shit. And the offense was to be expected because we got Joshua Dobbs as our QB rn. Ill be happy if we win 1 game since its a tank year

6:16 on the Vikings radio network, a fan called on and was mentioning the death of bud grant (the coach that led the Vikings to four Super Bowl appearances and died this spring). Which is also why the Vikings wore the throwback uniforms. The point is that the guy called in and said, way to pay tribute to bud grant and losing to the fucking Bucs.
Us ravens fans are used to pain. We are the only team that can win 25-9, and yet still feel like we lost. But as long as 8 is healthy, we know we winning games in the regular season. Love you JK. Bucs fan here, absolutely thrilled with the Defense and how Baker recovered from 25 bad minutes. They made changes, and started going hurry up to end the half, and won the entire fanbase over with some runs at the end of the game. I didn't think the Bucs would be as bad as people assumed they would be, and i'm glad we got to see flashes week 1 instead of further into the season

Baker Mayfield had so much time to throw against Minnesota he read a book, made some tea and took a nap before every pass. Look at the pockets he's throwing from, absolutely 0 pressure, perfect pockets, he doesn't even have to step up. The TD to Evans he had a solid 4-5 seconds to let that play develop and the nearest defender was 4-5 yards away in the pass rush. If Minnesota can't pressure the QB it's going to be a LONG season for them. That's just Baker Mayfield, imagine what happens when they play an elite QB.

While Desmond Ridder needs plenty of growth, I don't think inaccuracy was an issue at all. His greatest issue was poor pass blocking that kept him from resetting his field of vision on the run. Arthur Smith also called way too many safe plays that led to the RBs being his best receiving options. Despite that, it should not be ignored that he continues to have a high completion rate and zero INTs through 5 starts. While he needs to take more risks, he makes wise passing decisions.
Don't hit the panic button on the Bengals they started 0-2 last year and made the championship. Burrow & Chase are still a good duo
