Hi Malpan, have you stopped the videos. They are really useful. Do not mind the low number of views. Continue doing. Try to do reading the pscitta videos. There are not many videos on East Syriac.

Hi Rabbi, I noticed that in the chant you shared the text is altered. For example, he says ܢܛܝܪܝܢ ܟܝܢ̈ܐ ܒܕܝܠܝܬ̈ܗܘܢ instead of ܒܩܢܘܡܝ̈ܗܘܢ . Interesting that some traditions would keep the hymn but modify it's message.
Regarding the translation in the video, wouldn't ܦܘܪܩܢ ܓܘܐ be "salvation of the community/common one" instead of "universal salvation"? I think ܦܘܪܩܢ is in the construct state and so ܓܘܐ is a substantival adjective therefore ܓܘܐ doesn't modify ܦܘܪܩܢ.

Shlama! Yes. The link I shared is from a Chaldean Catholic deacon and he uses the standard Ḥudra used by those subject to Rome. Paul Bedjan (awesome compiler of texts, including the Chaldean Ḥudra) heavily edited the Ḥudra to fit Latin expressions of theology. But As far as translating 'purqān gāwā" you are right. It is the salvation of the universe/common/community. By context, I translated it as universal salvation, but you're right, it's the salvation of the whole. Purqān is construct and gāwā is definite. Thank you! Nice catch

So for clarification, does the Church of the East hold that there are four qnume of the Trinity?
