Special Olympics Torch Run 2023

Today Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department accepted the hand-off torch representing the “Flame of Hope” from the Los Angeles Police Department to continue the tradition of the Special Olympics.
The idea for the Torch Run is to provide law enforcement officers with an opportunity to volunteer with Special Olympics and support the athletes, and to increase awareness of this extraordinary event in the communities where they live and work.
