I’m in Florida and it’s still 90 out here but I’m still switching products. There are great transitional fragrances I have. Champagne apple & honey, autumn drive, golden sunflower, golden hour coast, open sky, etc.. and for now wearing my gourmands to bed like pumpkin pecan waffles lol
I like both ways you categorize your empties. I’m happy as long as I get to see them! I’ve been doing terrible this summer at using up my products so I think I’m gonna switch over to my fall stuff now. I think the new scent profiles will make me excited for the season and Christmas scents will be here before we know it! I hope you’re doing well and I can’t wait to see what products you wanna use up for the fall. ☺️🍁🍂
i finished up my tahiti island dream shower gel & oahu coconut sunset lotion this summer. they’re the only 2 products i really wanted to get through in my collection, and that way i also got to enjoy my other summer scents without feeling like i had to use up everything.
You did really well! I agree about using a product 4 or more times to really know if you love it or would buy it again. I don't have a huge collection but I'm all about finishing them up! I have used the same fragrance mist for one week straight and even when i layer it with other perfumes, after the week I'm so sick of the scent lol
Ahaha wearing a fragrance over and over again can be overwhelming but the ones that I am obsessed with I don't get sick of! Do you have a fragrance that you can wear everyday without getting sick of it? Mines probably boardwalk taffy and marshmallow pumpkin latte atm.
@@SelfCareCatherine I'm still on the hunt for my signature scent that I can wear daily. Right now my favorites are Ariana's Cloud and Kilian Princess for the evenings. My fave mists are Boardwalk Taffy (pairs with almost anything!) and Raspberry jam donut 🍩
Hi Cat! I hope you're feeling better after the wisdom teeth removal. By the 3rd day, I quit taking the pain pills. Big mistake! At first when the swelling goes down. the pain worsened for me. Icing really helps. Thanks for having pre-recorded videos for us. I love the seeing the progress, and a finale makes sense to me. Take it easy!
Ahh thanks Salem!! I got the top two taken out so it wasn't as bad as the bottom! I drank so much pineapple juice to help reduce the swelling but I have a small blue bruise on my cheek from the surgery ahahha

Yes to not having to use up the entire product to be successful! I used to think that I had to do this but that's not true. It's nice to put a dent in a product/products and step away from it for a bit and use something else then come back to it, especially if the scent has been discontinued :).
for my project use it i starting mixing my products! i take so long to go through mists and body creams, and by mixing it help me finish twice as much as i usually do! and it was fun coming up w new scents haha

Catherine, help! I have so many products I don't know where to start. I always start a project use it up and then I give up because it seems impossible. Please explain how to start when your collection is very large.
I would like to hear her thoughts on it too. For me, I would suggest keeping your collection by the year. For example, arrange the products from the farthest year back in a bin, basket, on a tray or vanity table where you can see them. Then choose one scent at a time from any more recent year. Tell yourself that you can't add anything to the given group unless it's a "one in, one out" rule. You're definitely more likely to get through your older scents. If you find that some are no longer good, you have made the discovery before you complete the process of making choices for what goes in the bin. Best of luck!

Hi! You're so nice! Well, I think I do pretty well to give myself about 3 shower gels at a time, I think I use about 1 a month. So I can go through those as I like, I give myself one that's more relaxing, one that's more floral, maybe one that's more fruity or gourmand. Any time I go through one of those, I replace with one of the same category from a past year. I also just toss whatever the remainder might be of the coordinating scented moisturizer. I get pretty close to that being used up but refuse to stress enough to cut open a tube. I always use the shower gel first. I'd definitely recommend doing a year-by year sort first to make sure anything you're putting on your body is ok. I heard someone say that we don't lose extra money when we throw out old products because we save trouble.

However, I want to really use my products & not give so much away, which is why doing a project use it up is so important to me.
