If you’ve heard one UK drill track, you’ve heard them all. Some artists are better than others but it’s all the same shit. People like them the same way people like the ignorant US rap. You guys are still learning about the UK scene, but there’s a lot more crossover than you realise. Ocean Wisdom (UK artist) just did a track with Method Man, which is more old school Hiphop inspired track. “Ocean Wisdom ft Method Man - Ting Dun” There’s also a few tracks that Denzel Curry has done with another UK artist called AJ Tracey. Stefflon Don, Iamdbb and Lady Leshurr have been making big moves representing the female artists too. Side note, I notice a lot of Americans say London as if it’s the whole of the UK, London is the capitol city of England, England is the biggest country in the UK, just for future reference. Most mainstream artists are from London but there’s a ton outside of it which are just as talented, they just lack the same exposure. Keep up the grind anyway.
Also, if you guys want a real grime experience, I’ll leave you a link for a video which includes some of the bigger names like Skepta, JME, Dizzee Rascal, Lethal B, Tempz etc. and there’s even some jungle music at the end, and jungle music is one of the biggest influences in how grime artists flow.
