Hello Bill & Elizabeth, please bring your pals back when they are almost all through with their box truck build, if you will? I really appreciate the look of beaded board and I have it as wainscoting and also full wall panels in one of my guest rooms. I would use this every where or maybe even ship lap with a blend of real wood strips to break it up visually? I do go for a “farmhouse milk truck” style. The only thing that would stop me is if there were no windows, I just could not do anything without those even if they are no long “stealth” campers, I would want at least two standard sized camper windows (divided light looking) on both sides and maybe a porthole for the door!❤
Something I learned long ago. I lived in a tent in Bosnia for a year, with 15 other guys in my Army unit, and space was at a premium. I've lived in nice homes since, from a four-bedroom, two-story house, to our current 970 sf home. You can misplace things anywhere. I find it is critical that I have a place for things, and put them in their place when I'm through with them. If you always put it where it belongs, you will always know where it is. If you just throw it down, it could be anywhere.
Very nice set up. It’s amazing the different ideas to get the same result and all are great. I have a Chevy express cargo van and I set mine up but “off grid”. It would be great in emergencies like an evacuation or one or two day trips. But it is comfortable.
You have really motivated and helped so many people to take on projects like this. I'm glad I watched until the very end as I was going to comment that they had no windows and it felt claustrophobic! They did a great job and I loved the wood touches which added an elegant finished look. They also seem like a very nice couple!
The box truck is lovely, just like yours. I have a short bus we converted, and we always get so many thumbs up and compliments even though we're amateurs, LO.L. I love my short bus, but i'm thinking about converting a box truck because the tires on my bus are 300 to 500 hundred dollars to replace. Yall are just so much fun to be around. Thank you for another great video. Till next time, God bless.
Elizabeth mentioned having everything where you wanted it when you stopped. One of the hassles of going from hotel to hotel is that you are constantly having to pack up and check to make sure you haven't left anything behind. Then the next move you have the stress to wonder where you put something this time. I've bicycle camped and it was a constant battle to put things away in the 'right' space. When you'd bought more food than would fit in the space in the pannier... and you shifted something to make a loaf of bread not get smooched.
Well they did a really good job on their box truck. I know it made you feel good knowing that they were inspired by y'alls build. Right now I have an old 86 international bluebird short bus. I'm going to start conversion on it pretty soon. But since I'm not a diesel mechanic after a couple of trips I might sell it. And get a box truck. Y'all take care and may Father YHVH, bless. Elizabeth, it's okay to say y'all in the south. 😂😂
Heavenly Father, please help Susan with her neuropathy, you tell us that you will never give us more than we are able to handle and it seems as though she might be at her “threshold” as we post, please surround her with your healing touch!🙏 2 Corinthians 1:3 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
Lord, You are so precious to us. We can do absolutely NOTHING without Your grace and steadfast love. Forgive us when we fail to give You the honor You deserve. Please touch our bodies, weak, frail, and pained as they are and give us just enough strength to move through THIS day, praising You. We know You already have tomorrow under control as well. Thank You for Jesus and His eternal sacrifice for us. Let our Joy spill everywhere we go! In Your Name we pray, Jesus. Amen
I too have a former Uhaul box truck I will be converting. Jim & Sherry mentioned they removed the layers of Uhaul decals from the outside of the box. Did they happen to mention how they did that? Maybe a heat gun and a plastic scraper? If they mentioned how they did that, I would love to know. Thanks Bill & Elizabeth. Love your channel. Been a subscriber for years!
Rapid Remover Adhesive Remover for Vinyl Wraps Graphics Decals Stripes 32oz Sprayer. Ordered from Amazon. This worked on the final layers like a charm. Most of it was just a lot of scrapping and elbow grease.
I like the layout of yours but I think I'll use their water system. I'm in northern Minnesota and I want to be able to take all the water out. Pipes freeze. Yes, you can winterize the water system but it's easier if you can just take it out. Thank you for sharing! It's beautiful!
Thank you so much for this video. Both of your builds give me confidence that I could do something like this if I put my mind to it, and planned carefully. All the best to all four of you!
🤠 FRIENDS ALASKA. Just watched a touring TH-cam. They took a 3 day ferry from Washington. Said the meals and cabin accommodations were exceptional a mini cruise that went where the big ones couldn't go
In Virginia we attend a Foursquare (Pentecostal) church, in Florida we attend a Baptist church. We both grew up Baptist, and Bill’s dad was a Baptist pastor. But we have been mostly Pentecostal for 40 years.
Should do a part 2 when the truck is totally finished. Would love to see the windows.
We hear them very well, even when they turn away😅 that's a nice looking truck/camper.
BTW, Elizabeth, you look great!
That's great to see, and awesome to find out that they go to your church too! Great people. Please do an update when they put the windows in! :)

Ver nice truck camper. Wishing them the best of luck with it and safe travels.😊
You 2 couples have more fun in 3 minutes than I had in just about 62 years. Boy, that inside looks cool.
Yup, we enjoy each other.

The camper seems to be a well thought out one. Very nice, well-groomed couple.
Be blessed on your journey.😊
Enjoyed this video! Lovely friends.
Please continue to pray friends
My neuropathy is completely out of control.
I appreciate you both❤

@@sharondietrich6546 I hadn’t heard of the Rapid Remover product before. I’ll order some and give that a try. Thank you much for your reply!

We just open the bottom drain and let all the water drain out. It’s no big deal.
One of your best recent videos.
Nice people and a nice tidy job. Thanks for sharing.

Keep em coming. How you find more people doing this. I'd love to see all the variations possible.❤😊🇨🇦🙏
Me and my hubby in a small truck. Would be a nightmare. 😅
Can I ask what church you attend. I like that your faith is a part of your everyday life and conversation.
In Virginia we attend a Foursquare (Pentecostal) church, in Florida we attend a Baptist church. We both grew up Baptist, and Bill’s dad was a Baptist pastor. But we have been mostly Pentecostal for 40 years.
I would need windows in order not to be feeling closed in. Nice work.
They have windows, and are planning to install them.
i have a box camper that i did . I would show you what i did with mine if you like.
Jim and Sherry do you have a channel? Would a R.V steps that you put into the camper would for your truck.
