i'm thinking about the same idea, man! vlad abilities are not so beautiful, so i really hope riot could update it, maybe not too much, just like yasuo is ok

+RunningMan1337 vlad needs a gameplay update. he is purposely weak because his kit cannot be balanced.
***** he is not weak per say but vlad is a late champ and league games these days doesnt allow him to reach that kind of god like state.
+RunningMan1337 I heard he's getting a rework... PLEASE let it be a visual rework ONLY! I love Vlad, he's my boo. My go-to for mid and bot (APC Vlad is a thing. You often times render the enemy ADC powerless until late game. It's cheesy and hilarious and I love it.)

I find Rylai's Crystal Scepter to be superior to Spirit Visage in every way. First off, you get 540 health and 110 AP instead of 400 Health and 10 AP. You get CC from Rylai's and a barely noticable heal increase from SV (considering the 110 AP vs. 20% heal increase). The MR is also less noticable, slows and extra DPS far surpass the other stats of SV. It's an honest mistake, I built this for days when playing Vladimir and tried both builds, finding Rylai's to greatly improve my dueling power and even sustain during fights. People think since Vlad is tanky, he should be able to build tank items, but that defeats the entire purpose of Vlad in the first place, he's a MAGE, not a tank and therefore should be built as such. In fact, if you actually do the math with spell vamp and the natural increase in heal due to the AP ratio on Transfusion, the sustain actually goes beyond a 20% flat increase, especially with Deathcap's 35% increase in AP.

^ Even then, I'd still reccomend it. Any AP item with health beats out Spirit Visage. Heck I ran it every game I played Akali back in S3/S4 and stomped because they never could run from my slowing Q and infinite dashes.
+Zack Gibbs I imagine that faker chose spirit visage because of the lulu or just because he felt he needed extra fight sustain. He also rushed WOTA which isn't great in general. Rylai's is and was the better choice in general but every game is different.

***** As of Windspeaker's Blessing and Runic Armor, I build SV every game in place of Void Staff, but in general Rylai's is too good of an item to pass up, which Faker did and I'm not sure why the hell he did. Also I always run 20% scaling CDR on Vlad so I don't need to itemize for CDR too too much. I still go Ghost/Flash instead of Heal, it doesn't offer a lot of utility besides healing.

Interesting...when I played Vlad against Yasuo he spent his time dashing onto my head and I spent mine in the air. Dash, Q, Auto....aaaaan Vlad is outta here.

M4RSJ4N Just need to farm and splitpush ^^ And farming with him is no problem.
MultiFayzerLP For low elo player last hitting with ,,hand,, can be a problem. But when your team sucks enemy team (especially in low elo games) can stomp and finish the game too early, and Vlad dont have great outpush except his E, and pool, but this is defensive spell. Generally he's good at low elo because of his insane late game.
