Mia’s acting was ridiculously good. It was the heart of the series; her breakdowns were heart-wrenching. It’s good to see that Mia is in her teens; I would have worried about her emotional safety if she had been younger.

Per the interview, she did all the voice work for Powder when she was 11 so she's not far off at all from the character, age-wise. Her natural speaking voice does still sound suuuper childlike here even at 16.
@@ccwaggoner Honestly, that just makes it even more impressive. For an 11-year-old to pour such authentic emotional weight into the delivery of some of those more intense lines in episode 3 is _insane._
Silco was my favorite character in this show. He was SO intriguing and had so many facets to his persona. The voice actor did a wonderful job conveying all the emotions he went through, some so minute you might just miss it if you blink, and that made me love the character even more despite him being labeled the "main villain" of this season. He was never the villain in my eyes.
I mean, he is the antagonist, so he's the villain in that sense, but I get what you mean, he isn't the stereotypical black/white evil world-dominating villain, he just wants independance and having his people stop getting treated like garbage, his character is more of an anti-hero than anything.
I loved Jinx more with her acting. The little cracks and emotions sometimes in the lines are so insane. But Silco is second for me. He did sooooo good.
@@Dead25m he is an antagonist, but he's not a villain. Villains usually lack depth. Voldemort and Thanos are so two dimensional, you can't feel any sense of attachment to them. But Silco, he's so complex you can't give him such a black and white label

(well place 2 and 3. its hard to beat Shohreh Aghdashloos voice :D)
Doing voice acting before animation is pretty common in the industry. I learned that from a behind the scenes featurette for animated adaptations of the Book of Mormon. The studio that made them would later go on to make The Swan Princess and the director had worked at Disney prior to starting the company.
Astounding voice acting on their parts! They truly made the show magic. Their voices alone conveyed such huge emotion, and they both had such joy and passion for the characters.
I think that studio would be great for my future idea for a "Railway Series" movie (hopefully for theaters since "Arcane"'s animation would look better that way). That way, it would look like the book illustrations are coming to life. My idea is to make it a mockumentary in the style of "Surf's Up" and the interviews would take place during the events of "The Eight Famous Engines" where the engines are being interviewed about their lives in London and we see footage of the various events that happened in the previous books. It's like the engines are narrating their own books. I even have a little bit of a dream cast including Eddie Redmayne as Thomas (I also thought about Ewan McGregor and someone said they wanna hear James McAvoy do him), Ben Winslaw as Edward, Ralph Fiennes as Gordon, John Oliver as James, and Nick Mohammed as Percy. I also came up with an idea for a second movie focusing on the little engines on the Skarloley railway and the interviews are set in the story where they appear on television (a story that didn't even get televised). In addition, I thought the story "Gordon goes Foreign" could work as its own feature film. I want this to stay faithful to the Rev. W. Awdry's legacy.
They don't exactly hate the game, the community is just so toxic in-game that people who play league regurarly want others to stay away from the dumpsterfire.

Silco was an amazing villain, relatable, powerfull, yet with beliveable falwes and weaknessnes. But most importantly, the hero of his own story.
