It doesn’t matter if you lose your having fun and that’s what matters as a child enjoy yourself and you were on a fun great game show having fun is best.
The quality is amazing on this upload. Amazing VHS transfer. I remember this episode and these ads. Funny to hear Mark mention Gak. I remember it being maybe 92 or 93 when Gak came out in stores, but for several years prior, we’d always see it on Nickelodeon. They knew we wanted to buy that shit 😂 so I’d have to try to date this episode around then. Maybe summer of 1988. ..Awwgh, memories, don’t make me cry!!
Isn't anything wrong with losing. You still got to live any kids' dream of being able to be on Double Dare and meeting Marc Summers. I'm sure that was everyone's dream growing up, so incredible job! What was the audition process like, if you don't mind sharing?
Bruh, winning 100 bucks back in 1989 would be like winning a grand now 😂 And wait a minute, I thought Eisenhower was on the dime. Damn Mandela effect…idk maybe I’m just mistaken 😂 And wow, Honey I Shrunk the kids. I saw that in the theater, watched it maybe two months ago, it still holds up! Somewhat hahaa
Never knew about this episode. I think this was the 3rd of the 4 taped that day, between the Wink Martindale and pig day episodes, cause here they had the sloppy version of Fancy Footwork and Pick It filled in for Drawbridge.
Perhaps either the Wink Martindale or Pig Day episodes were saved for last, methinks. And yes, all three of them were from the same tape date, ditto the Kids in Play Vs. Magic Maniacs episode.
@@VahanNisanian I think pig day was the last one that day because the Wink Martindale one and Kids in Play vs Magic Martians both had Drawbridge while this one and pig day had Pick It. It’s most likely Kids in Play vs Magic Martians was the 1st one cause that one also had the clean version of Fancy Footwork. Swapping Drawbridge with Pick It was probably to make the other courses that day harder cause both the ones with Drawbridge were winners. Coincidentally, all 4 lineups that day ended with Brick Wall.
A lost episode has been found!
And one that was still broadcast on a Fox O&O station.
Thanks for posting this and including the commercials
based on the ad for "Honey, I shrunk the Kids", this aired between June 19-23, 1989
I loved when "Double Dare" was on syndication.
Thank you! Was just about to ask when this aired because I remember it
@@drummingdanny84bro, those were the straight golden ages of TV and life in general! So many memories of good times

Right? I’d take losing on DD over not being on the show at all! Haha
you got on the greatest game show ever that is so cool
I feel like the red team was totally robbed of that physical challenge win with the water pumps!
That probably would explain why gas skipped it
Was going to say the same thing about that
That's a nice prize at obstacle #7.

Do you happen to have anymore Classic Nickelodeon Shows?
Which team were you on?
Whichever team lost, obviously.
@@myrahillen862 Well you still did good.
@@patrickwilson1459 Haha, not me. I was too young for the show. I meant the creator
@@myrahillen862 Oh, sorry.

@@retroflashbackdude Do you believe the 400th episode may have been the last taping of SSDD? That's what I believe.
Thanks for pointing that out!
I believe only two episodes of SSDD Orlando are left to be found (one of which is seen in the movie Ghost Dad).
I would love to wear NYLON PANTS And NYLON COATS
And the physical challenge
