Depressurizing the tires is important for vehicles running on loose sands. It increases the surface area of contact between the sand and the tire. It's good old WW 2 trick.
While we drive in sand use two techniques ,Frist dicrease air pressure in the tyres, and when struck in case while spining the tyres streer left to right to drive.
Bhai army me kabhi bhi unexperienced bunde ko stallion off road pe chalane nahi denge there are always top level drivers to drive stallion in offroad u can not say that ki wo accha chala ra hai..army me accha chalana compulsory hota hai tabhi ti wo military force hai warna bus to koi aam aadmi bhi chala sakta hai.
The truck having Traction control problem it's TATA truck... it's not meant for this situation Indian army needs to upgrade it's trucks they should be lite wight and more in power.
Just need to decrease tyre air pressure so can have better tyres surface area.just look at 🐪 larger foot prints, perfectly suitable for sand as compare to 🐎
Vlogger was like 'ye bnda experienced hai sahi se chla ra hai' but thing is bheiaa jab se tumney camera pakda hai.. utne se zyada ka toh inka experience hai ..
In all probabilities the truck is on general duty and making a stopover at the dunes for this festival. Reducing pressure for just this short time would be a pain as most of its normal duties would be on tarmac and hard roads. Every military truck does not have a central tyre inflation system due to costs and complexity. When actual desert driving or combat is involved needful preparations are done, kits like sand-plates are kept and for extended duties balloon tyres can be fitted.
but this driving causes lot of unwanted strain to the drive line and differentials, We could see even the gipsy too in the road tyre pressue which will easily bog down. If deflated by 20Psi the truck would easily move.
Ganesh chandran Not much on the truck. Its transmission is designed to handle high torque loads and crawl speeds. Lower tyre pressure reduces ground pressure and increases contact area. But that increases rolling resistance and that too strains the engine, transmission. Dedicated off-road driving vehicles have transmissions that can handle these extra loads.
Those who are suggestion to reduce the tyre pressure, it's not tht easy, they need to get permission from the government, takes atleast 1year to get the same, remember this is india😂
Obviously the driver and or other military personnel not trained enough......all anyone had to do simply was deflate the tires a bit to make it work......'çoz this TATA truck is a powerful one, with ample torque and 4 x 4 capabilities!
Akhilesh Raj really? That was not Tata truck that was ashok leyland. how can you think military personnel is allowed to drive without sufficient training.Army drivers are capable of driving in all situations. wether it is himalyas desert or plains before theyare given charge to drive vehicle they are professionally trained in offroad area. do you want pictures i can send you the vehicle training area pics. you give me whatsapp no
O military saab galat tarike se Gadi nikal rahe ho main bhi heavy truck driver hun ya to aap piche wale 2 tyre ke niche 2 balti pani dhaldo ya phir tyre ki hawa Aadhi kr do Gadi Aaram se nikal jayega
Are o shahid khan agar waha par pani na ho aur tayar Ka hawa pahale se nikala gaya ho aur gadi na nikale to kya karega.aur fauj bane kam ko bigadati nahi hai ,balki bigade kam ko banati hai ,
Kushal Singh Shekhawat no bro sand dunes change all the times in desert because of wind Everything matters Tyre pressure Wind direction and yes experience too but some times comditions are not favourable in desert
Sukr hai tata ka truck tha ashok ka hota to fasa hi rhta .... Mere hisab se indian army ko total tata ke trucks hi purches karne chahiye .... There air pressure ke karan thodi dikkat ho rhi thi verna tata apne aap me sbka baap hai
2 reasons those trucks doesn't have depressuring system even though it is overweighted and those are not all terrain tires used in extreme conditions like the Ashok Leyland Fat 6/6

It’s not a limited slip differential

they should have to use wide tyres in sand because wide tyres means more grip ... every body knows force is equal to area ......

Pwd ke liye order dedo ok advance
The tires are the culprit, they're completely worn out. No tread no grip
no don't want full buttons on tyres for sand ...
good job
I think eska tyre pressure 35psi hai ese 20psi hona chahiye
Jay hind
Lack of driving skills truck is much capable to get over it
Kushal Singh Shekhawat no bro sand dunes change all the times in desert because of wind
