I'm so glad you decided to go with allowing someone else to do it. It is a very wise idea. When you're talking about a pretty large area with framing and then pouring the concrete yourself, wow, backbreaking work. Saving a little money isn't worth risking health. It's amazing how those guys can smooth out everything. Looks so good. Exciting!!!!
The older we get, the more we realize it’s so worth it to hire someone younger and more able to do the physical labor. Especially with health issues. If we take into acct how much of our time it takes, it’s worth it. Plus you can enjoy it so much sooner and they should guarantee their work so if it cracks, they’ll come back and fix. Worth the extra few hundred $$. So glad you guys decided to hire it out.
Your paint job and patio looks so nice. Also a good decision both of you made with having the pro's doing the patio. You wouldn't want Marion getting sick. Your Family will enjoy your patio for years to come. I am so proud for your family 😊.

Patio looks nice! Neighbor’s crew did a great job, so much easier for you guys to enjoy instead of you doing the work, it’s ready for you to enjoy! Would also be nice with a pergola for some shade or rectangle framing with a red metal roof for shade, a project maybe down the road.

We are painting our house and shop to match. I was shocked at not only the cost of the paint but also the brushes and rollers. It’s probably going to cost close to $3,000 to paint not counting labor since our family will be helping us. Your patio is beautiful! So satisfying to pay the professionals sometimes!

We had our patio poured in 2020. Like you, it goes the entire width of our house and comes out about 15 feet. Worth every dime! It’s so much fun to decorate out there!
Glad you found someone to do your patio for you, saved you all lot hard work. Have you ever though about putting siding on your house instead painting. They have lot different colors and when it gets dirty you can pressure wash it off. Can’t wait to see the finish of yr patio.

Looks beautiful so far! We just did the same thing. We were planning on building a deck. We priced out the materials and we just weren’t going to save that much , doing it ourselves. Plus the sweat equity was going to be a killer. So we priced out the pro concrete pour, we went with the pros pouring the patio. I’m so happy we did! I know my husband is willing to try anything I come up with, but I’m glad he was off the hook for this one. I know you’ll enjoy your new space as much as we are enjoying ours ❤ “Life On Lindy”.
