Been searching for a tool and settled on a Pullerbear. After looking at multiple videos and reading everything on the site, still undecided. Noticed the ship list was pretty much the 321 or Cub. Grip models at 48" and the Pro models at 53", it's clear the longer the bar, the greater the leverage for stubborn roots. Now, I'm down to and stuck on adjustable grip or fixed where the adjustable models likely retain the best mechanical advantage. I'm in VT, will be pulling mostly small trees, some invasives from woods and in/around stone walls. Any advice or suggestions to help me make the final choice is appreciated?
@pafrazier56 The adjustable models are particularly useful if you're pulling several small stems. You can set the jaw to the smallest setting so that the pulling starts when the handle is vertical. It helps, too, in tight areas where there's not a lot of room to move.
