This custom-forged blade features a five-layer steel core with copper layered inside, giving it a distinctive, eye-catching look. Just a heads-up, though-copper naturally oxidizes over time. Whether that’s a dealbreaker is up to you, but one thing’s for sure: this is one of the most affordable custom copper-blade knives out there, with solid craftsmanship that makes it a great bang for your buck.
The satin finish on the blade is hand-ground, which you can see in the unique sanding marks on the surface-totally different from machine-made blades. The cutting edge has a hollow grind, and the tanto-style tip is flat-ground, which gives it extra strength for piercing and a smooth feel when slicing.
The Chop2 has a clean, straightforward design. Just press the fin, and it opens smoothly. The button lock lets you easily unlock it with one hand, so it’s super convenient to use while working.
For the frame, we used 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum, known for its high strength and lightweight feel. It’s a striking contrast to our bronze series and definitely better suited for everyday carry.
We didn’t add a back clip to avoid any risk of scratches on the handle’s inlay during shipping, but you can easily install the clip yourself. We’re including a T8 tool in the package for your convenience.
This knife features ceramic bearings and a brass frame, allowing for smooth opening.
Copper Damascus has always intrigued me and at such a great price this knife is a no brainer
So true
Very high quality knife I bought one myself
My mind was blown by that SWEET Chaves OTF. Very very very cool!🔥
👊😄
Gorgeous!
Things sexy, I usually don’t like the look of rear flippers but this thing has IT
Very very nice
2:39 hmmm.. that’s interesting, I literally was just playing around with my Winterblade Veyron and M-Fire and I took quite a few seconds and really looked over the soft cases they came in. Then i eventually came upon this video minutes later and I immediately noticed that the soft case here is the exact same as the ones used in the latest Winterblade releases. The Veyron and M-Fire were OEM’d by Kunwu. Just thought that was interesting. I dunno what to make of it tho.. just a thought and a curiosity.
Could be that neither company made their own case and they locally sourced it. Pretry inefficient for ever knife factory to also get into the knife case business.
Neat knife. Grats.
I have one of their knives, it's a brass or brass like handle. It's gorgeous. I really like it.
It's AluBronze, neat stuff and quite dense.
Why are you doing this to me? I'm already knife poor!!! 😂😂 Love the look of that 🗡️. Great video keep up the good work in making these videos.
😄
These knives are way underpriced! You can get a nice one under $100!
Cool… might have to snag one myself.
Your pocket clip will match nicely once the copper patinas
I think so too
Everyone don't like pocket clips. This gives you an option
I think that the reason why they don't install the pocketclip is so that it doesn't mark the copper where it lands, incase you had no intention of running the knife with a clip. Can't really say that it's 'lack luster' since it's no less work to install the blanking plate, if anything it's more thoughtful.
👊
We are worried about the scratches caused by the loosening of the back clip during transportation. Copper is very soft. In addition, this model has a more advanced titanium Damascus handle, so we try to deliver it to customers as perfectly as possible. This is what we want to do.
@NorthMountainBlade 👊
Is there iodine in those q-tips?
Trump Winery includes thank you notes! Some online cigar sellers include thank you notes. For starters.
huh?
My maxace Neptune is in sld magic it’s a cool jacketed blade steel. Nice review and a great looking knife. It’s going to patina so nice on those scales. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like they used gun bluing on the clip to get that color.
Love that hammered copper. Surprised at the price point with that blade steel. DIY clip installation must have cuts some costs lol
😄
Mine came with the clip installed. It IS rather lame not to install it! It LACKS the copper in the blade, however! I want copper!
That's where that ziplock bag with the bandaids and such came from ... I have too many knives.
😁
Ayo EMS, could you do a disassembly of the Microtech Brachial?
There isn’t one, neither on Microtech’s channel nor here anywhere on YT.
I have button stick on mine, when i deploy blade it sticks then fires. LUDT does as well just not as bad. If could that would be much appreciated, if not i understand as i am sure it could be a pain in the cheeks.
I could do the LUDT, but I don't have a Brachial
Awesome. The website has no indication of the size at all? What is it like a 3.25 inch blade?
3.5" blade, 8" OAL
What kind of box cutter are you using ?
Chaves Knives CHUB OTF
Thanks
I bought standard chop 2 a few months ago the edge has been holding up really good.
👊
*well.
@jacknemo8021 🤣
These knives are incredibly cheap (inexpensive) for what they are… They are high-end knives for low-end prices!
Where are these blades made?
The steel (SLD Magic) is made in Japan. The knives are made in China
@@edged_mindset Thank you! I couldn't find any mention on their website
@PremiumBlendHerbal They have the specs listed for some configuration. I think I clicked on the brass frag one to get these.
Did you mention the length of the blade?
If I didn't I should be severely reprimanded. It's 3.5" with an 8" OAL
The clip is most likely sandblasted to get that grayish color
yes
Clip will look god against the patina of the copper if you end up using the knife.
Very true
Those are iodine swabs. In case you get a cut. I think.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Transferring USDT from your SafePal wallet to Binance is a straightforward process. Here's how you can do it:
1. Access Your SafePal Wallet:
Open the SafePal app on your device.
If you haven't set up your wallet yet, you can recover it using your seed phrase:
In the SafePal app, go to the wallet section.
Select "Import Wallet" and choose "Import via Mnemonic Phrase."
Enter your 12-word seed phrase in the correct order.
Set a new security password and complete the import process.
2. Obtain Your Binance USDT Deposit Address:
Log in to your Binance account.
Navigate to "Wallet" > "Fiat and Spot."
Search for USDT and click on "Deposit."
Select the appropriate network (e.g., ERC20, BEP20, or TRC20) that matches the network of your USDT in SafePal.
Copy the displayed USDT deposit address.
3. Initiate the Transfer from SafePal:
In the SafePal app, select USDT from your asset list.
Tap "Send" or "Transfer."
Paste the Binance USDT deposit address you copied earlier.
Enter the amount of USDT you wish to transfer.
Ensure that the selected network matches the one you chose on Binance to avoid any loss of funds.
Confirm the transaction details and authorize the transfer.
4. Verify the Transfer:
After initiating the transfer, wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain.
Once confirmed, check your USDT balance in your Binance account to ensure the funds have arrived.
Important Considerations:
Network Selection: Always ensure that the network you select in SafePal matches the one chosen in Binance. Mismatched networks can result in the loss of funds.
Transaction Fees: Be aware of any network fees associated with the transfer.
Security: Keep your seed phrase confidential and never share it with anyone. It's the key to your wallet and assets.
For a visual guide, you might find this video helpful:
By following these steps, you should be able to transfer your USDT from SafePal to Binance securely.
Why do you buy stuff you don't know anything about.
"Don't know anything about" is a rediculous statement. It cought my eye, I shared an unboxing with my subscribers. If I do a full review it will contain all the detailed information. This is a first Impression.
