Awesome, I finally posted your vid lol. If I recall, you told me about the 13.0, and I wasn't there? Maybe I'll catch ya back out breaking into the 12s!
Looking at picking one of these up actually. A 2017 with the V6 and awd. But no driver's package which is what I'm sure you have. So mine would lack the torque dampening trans. Also no tune. But that could be fixed of course haha.
Man, I still love this video. I bought this car for 22,000 from a dealer. In addition to these drag pulls, I also used it during the pandemic to do around 14k miles in Lyft premium and black label rides. I then sold it for more then I paid. A true hidden gem!
True definition of a sleeper. Most people would never expect for a midsize Lincoln sedan to pack a 400 horsepower twin-turbo engine and all-wheel drive 😱.
Just bought the reserve 60 k new and it’s my favorite car yet !!! Just made the list Lincoln’s fastest car right down to my year and all. 2017 mkz 3.0 awd
I bought one of these in September last year its fun and snappy. For those that don't know there is a 50hp difference between the fwd and awd. The suspension is adjustable from extra floaty, normal, stiff(sport). The sport setting is almost as rough as my 01 ss.🍻
Everybody is fast Durango weighs over five thousand pounds u people sound like the other people who own a Kia stinger can beat everyone like mustangs not true
Picked up a 2017 3.0T AWD with every option a month back and am loving it. It was $29k with 41k miles in very good condition but not flawless. It's the blue color with the black and white interior. It has the drivers package with torque vectoring and I don't notice too strange of handling. Where it just slams you is from about a 20 mph roll when it downshifts just as the power kicks in. Otherwise it is fast off the line but you can feel it roll into the power, holding some back. Maybe the tune would cure that "nanny" off the line. I know when one of the first magazines tested this car the Lincoln guys had swapped some serious summer tires for the test and it ran quite a bit quicker than the later tests on stock tires.
@@rbr4115 so far it hasn't cost a dime. Deep down it's just a Ford Fusion, nothing exotic. Standard inexpensive Ford parts and normal Ford labor rates would be expected if it did have any problems. I know one thing to look forward to is unlike the 2.7 EcoBoost it is based on, it doesn't have both direct injection and port injection to keep the intake valves clean. It just has the direct injection which will soon or later require an intake valve cleaning like any other car with just direct injection.
