Spring Boot makes it easy to create stand-alone, production-grade Spring based Applications that you can "just run". Spring Boot helps you accelerate application development.
It looks at your classpath and at the beans you have configured, makes reasonable assumptions about what you are missing, and adds those items. With Spring Boot, you can focus more on business features and less on infrastructure.
For all Spring applications, you should start with the Spring Initializr. The Initializr offers a fast way to pull in all the dependencies you need for an application and does a lot of the setup for you.
Spring Boot Interview questions are usually tricky ones and we need to practice them before appearing for spring boot interviews.
A very common question asked is what is @SpringBootAnnotation
@SpringBootApplication is a convenience annotation that adds all of the following:
@Configuration: Tags the class as a source of bean definitions for the application context.
@EnableAutoConfiguration: Tells Spring Boot to start adding beans based on classpath settings, other beans, and various property settings. For example, if spring-web MVC is on the classpath, this annotation flags the application as a web application and activates key behaviors, such as setting up a DispatcherServlet.
@ComponentScan: Tells Spring to look for other components, configurations, and services in the com/example package, letting it find the controllers.

It covered really good stack of questions which are frequently asked in interviews..thanks mam for showing everything practically. I have one question, can we have both sql based and nosql based databases configured in spring boot, if yes, how we do it? Could you please help.

    • @kamranabbasi4763
      @kamranabbasi4763 2 ปีที่แล้ว

There are many databases like Redis, which is not an SQL, you can use that along with your any SQL based database. Another thing you can have multiple data sources in a single application, like a primary and secondary data sources.

      @@CodeDecode I have one suggestion ,
It would be really good if all the interview question which are mostly asked in real MNC interviews are subject wise compiled together
and answers for all those interview questions (short, simple and easy to understand not to lengthy with graphics diagrams where ever required for e.g. you have explained how the garbage collection happens or done by JVM) and also with program/code snippet where ever required and if you organised it in well structured manner and create a "Book" author by you and give some nice title
Say for e.g. "Career with Java"
And bring in to market belive me it would be of great successfull book
It should contain only java and related technologies which are like must for a "Java full stack developer"
Let's devide the java and technologies in to 3 tiers
      1) UI or Front end/ presentation tier
      2) Middle tier/ Business logic tier
      3) Back end or database tier
      Some of the technologies which
I know required for a full stack developer are as follows
      1) UI or Front end/ presentation tier
      HTML,CSS,JSP,JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax.
      2) Middle tier/ Business logic tier
      Core-java (up to java 15/16),
      Advance java JDBC etc
      servlet-JSP,
      Struts framework
      Struts1.3/Struts 2.x
      Spring framework CORE,MVC,AOP,ORM,Annotatios,
      JDBCTemplate,Spring-Hibernate integration,Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
      3) Back end or database tier
      Hibernate interview questions
      RDBMS, SQL and PL-SQL
      Web services
      REST-Web Services
      SOAP Web Services
Design Patterns 7-8 most commonly used
Some VCS interview questions and answers
      SVN and GIT etc
      "Career with Java"
(mostly asked in real MNC interviews) like for e.g. top 10 or top 20 questions including advance topics with program/code snippet
The book should be precisely composed like if around 20 technologies I have mentioned
If top 10 QAs covered the
      Total 200 QAs
If top 20 QAs are covered then
      Total 400 question answers
Some of the technologies may not required 20QA Like SVN GIT
And some may required more than 20QAs like CORE JAVA and spring framework.
Total book size should be within 100 to 150 pages
And price also should not be very high say for e.g for 100 pages book rs 100 and if pages are more then should increase the price accordingly
      Let's say
      For 150 Pages book
      Price is Rs150
And if 1million copies are sold
      10,00,000X150
15,00,00,000 will be total sale and
Publisher can give handsome return out of it around 20℅ I think minimum
It's just a suggestion but can be doable think about it.

Thank you so much for this video. I have a question on last video like how system will know that we write spring.active.profies=prod then it will take from the -prod file name what if I give the property file name as "prodd" or something else

    • @CodeDecode
      @CodeDecode  4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

System reads your application.properties file. While reading when it finds that you have overriden spring.active.profiles property , then it will know that you have different configurations for different environments. And what ever parameters you pass as a value to this property say xyz, it will then search for application-xyz.property file in your class path. If it finds that, it will load all required properties from there. If no such file or present in your path then it will give you error.
