I used to play Warcraft Frozen Throne since 2003 and DOTA also since 2003-04 period. Back then I guess it was 3.xx version that I played the most. I know I am ancient compared to many new players here. Back then it was either BattleNet (pay to play for most people) or later Garena (free to play) where we played with others. Else it was always AI version of the maps. OLD days when items were named after the ones making the maps ( Euls Guinsoo etc) and the heroes were named after the people who made plays and made those heroes famous. I remember SF being called Yaphets, Zeus being called Merlini and so on. MYM being the best team. Merlini was the one who made Jungling a strat when no one knew what jungling even was. The memories, the nostalgia, THE GAME.
Now that I looked back at this video, I could see how pro player evolve nowadays. Yaphet’s Godlike play of those times seems like even an ancient SF player can play like that. All in all, dota players really evolve a lot.

That strongest version of Rosh is the current Roshan but is always almost immediately killed after respawn because the power creep over the years. The strongest Roshan relative to the power level of heroes was of course the ilder maps. Back then, a PA with 6 items will take around 5 mins soloing him
DOTA All-Star was so fucking hard. .. Every hero doesn't have sweet-tooth like in Dota 2. .. Everything was based on your skills and experience. .. It's weird and fun unlike Dota 2 which only make you filled with rage and unsatisfied everytime you got stomped

False rosh used to be way stronger in older patches. Rosh can 1 hit level 1 heroes way back
