This actually sounds like a punk band as opposed to a band calling themselves hardcore but sounding metal - there is hope! Reminded me of Negative Approach, love the hardcore here.

NYHC seemed to be the beginning. '90s era ruined hardcore. The word "hardcore" has a completely different meaning now. Breakdowns, beatdown, slam, moshcore... this is "hardcore" bullshit and not real punk. And certainly not hardcore punk.
The best hardcore PUNK is '80s stuff. You have to look really hard to find good modern hardcore PUNK. They are out there, though.

@@iannelli2448 I am in the UK and remember when thrash metal was going out of fashion, the metal magazines and record labels were looking for new things to make money from. Obviously the sub pop / grunge bands helped with that but also death metal and NYHC. Suddenly all the kids too did not dig Death Metal were being introduced to band like Pantera (I know Pantera are not HC)and NYHC; and one of those bands was Biohazard. But here is the thing, Biohazard are not hardcore punk, sure some of them had shaved heads and tattoos but that is just gimmicks from the music industry trying find new ways to make money from the kids. Biohazards's music was metal with people trying to rap - that is not hardcore punk. There is a hardcore punk scene here in the UK- it is part of the underground and it is untouched by big business on the whole. Very few metal heads would be seen at those shows it just exists in parallel to the metal scene and is entrenched in a punk DIY ethic. Agree, the 90s cheapened the hardcore punk scene, 80s hardcore punk is untouchable, some of the most vicious punk I have heard is from that era, and yes there is some amazing modern hardcore punk and thank God for that.
