I like (plain, normal edition) Mars almost purely on an aesthetic basis. It's one of the few robots in recent times that tries to look more like a serious military machine, an actual War Robot, with that camo-like standard paintjob and the bulkiness of its features, specially looking at it from the front. Beyond that I also admire the fact it brought the concept of autonomous turrets into the game... and I like the firing animation for that too. Ironically, it is the silly designs like Dagon and Ophion that get defensive abilities so that you can see them in full as they hit you, while Mars gets a playstyle that encourages hanging back.
I just love the pluckiness the quickness and the versatility of mars. That detachable turret has got me out of so many scrapes and taken out a lot of enemies I know I have more than 5 in my garage.
Yes, I love it too, especially destroying it and absolutely crushing it like a candy.😂 Some might call me stupid for this setup, but I use a Glacier Curie all deep in MK2, and it freaking rain damage upon anyone brave enough to show themselves, especially with a Mars!
Mars is still great, its similar to how the Typhon aged, albeit a bit worse compared to a maxed out Typhon, but its still a really, REALLY good F2P Robot!
dude ive seen more of those dashy robots and the UI shock trains and its annoying me the heck out of the game. i've erased the game several times due to lag and so much bad gameplay nowadays. Idek...
I dont like Mars personally. I used to use it to do the first lvls of extermination... Until I got the UK Seraph. Which remains my best extermination bot to date. It's still better than the raptor even. Its nice to kill like as many opponents as possible in one flight.
I haven't run Mars for the longest time now. I might throw it in just for the fun of it! I also run 2 immune amps and Seeker but I'll try it with 3x Porthos. LOL @ all the tough guys in the comments talking sh*t about how easy they kill Mars. Every bot in the game has a counter. It's all about timing. You can never guarantee you'll be in the bot you need when you encounter a Mars. That game doesn't work that way. You won't kill Ultimate Punisher Mars easily believe me. I've run it.
Can’t understand how so experienced players can still ask why the mars is a good bot even in todays meta… It’s just drone.. With this undestroyable drone you have a very high psychological advantage over every bot that hasn’t those self shooting turrets… For sure it doesn’t do that much damage anymore but it still do some damage and that just triggers the brain of the player cuz everyone has fixed in mind „take least damage as possible“… It’s so simple and even then so advanced players didn’t get it, it’s just ridiculous…

Every time I dropped off in Castle 🏰, map ,I immediately dropped my Mars and throw the turret to the other side of the map in the spawn
